She is actually using a good concept. No words. That means anyone in the world can watch it and doesn't need to translate it. If she is going too fast for you, you always have the option in your settings to change the speed. You can make it as slow as you like. I always just mute it so the music doesn't sound crazy. English is not my mother toungue. I followed the written instructions easily- I could understand a video in english, but I don`t speak mandarin nor russian. Sometimes I cannot follow a video in those languages because they speak too much. I loved this approach.
I used 281 chain to get 55 rings skip 10 st slip st in next then chain 5 slip stitch in 5 stitch of foundation chain hope this help anyone who tries this project.
There is a video titled "How to make the rose scarf" on her channel. This video is "How to CROCHET the rose scarf". The video on how to MAKE it shows her rolling the finished scarf to create a rose. This is the technical crafting of the base scarf, before rolling it. Hope that helps, I am overwhelmed with gratitude that these tutorials were/are free! How generous! Thank you!

So, after my 2 failed attempts, I did some math. If you are interested, I got 55 rings once I chained 334 instead of 327. Then I sl st in 11th chain, and then every 6th (skip'd 5 then chained in 6th) chain after that. Hope it works for you!

ana delia castillo ramirez hola Ana Delia,que gusto !!!espero servirte....se tejen 327 cadenas,que es el largo de la bufanda....la puedes hacer de larga,como gustes...tejes 10 cadenas y prendes con 1/2 punto,saltando 10 cadenas de la base,te deben quedar 55 espacios,si te puedo ayudar solo avisame con gusto...felíz año nuevo !!!

I have had the same issues :) And ended up with the correct ammount of rings after doing some math :) Not that I'm good at math but it turned out right. I am making the last row right now :)

Lovely scarf to begin with. The instructions are in word format on the screen before the crocheting is done. It is different I can say that! I don't need to watch it, I just want to make the scarf. I think I will download the file and just use the written pattern. Until Row 3, I watched the video just to get to the written instructions on the screen. Then I paused it while memorizing the next row. I love the scarf, but the instructions could be better especially for those who are new at crocheting. I have been for more than 30 years. Good luck to all of you!!

The scarf is beautiful!!!! However I am a beginner and found this video to be a bit challenging when it got to Row 2/3 maybe??? Usually if something is tailored for the "beginner" you want to guide them through it or at least make the directions a bit clearer than what they were. I've saw some videos even keep the Instructions up a bit longer until they move to the next step. Now please don't take any of what I've stated to be offensive because I PROMISE you I am not trying to come across as such. It's just it's a beautiful scarf and I admit I got lost after Row 1. However your work is amazing so it won't stop me from watching other videos!

Hola soy beatriz,no tengo cuenta propia y uso la de mi hijo.Este trabajo es hermoso pero... con 327 puntos me dieron 64 espacios, continué lo mismo pero al llegar a vuelta 4 el tutorial muestra 7 motivos de cadenas. con lo cual el grupo de varetas dobles no concuerda con el centro de los motivos y pierde armonía el trabajo; tuve que hacer 8 grupos de cadenas y al empezar la 5 vuelta, comencé con 5 cadenas un punto bajo en el próximo espacio y recién el grupo de varetas dobles, en el próximo.Gracias por lo que nos brindas, vi tus trabajos son preciosos.
LOVE this. The only comment I have is the camera is too close and may cause some dizziness when watching. Maybe I can slow down the settings. Other than that I love this it looks complicated but so easy!

Has anyone had success following this pattern? If so, do you have some tips to share regarding how many chains and loops to begin with?
Hi Kym, I think it says that you have to chain 327. I am making one right now but I am using 5,5mm crochet hook and then I think the lenght is good. I am not sure that I would settle with 53 rings with a smaller crochet hook :)

Very pretty model. on the other hand hyper blurry video, filmed too close to the shot at times we do not see what you are doing and it moves a lot given the close-ups. The explanations are also very vague ... It's a shame

I just ran across this video and even though it looks easy enough I am an epileptic so the in & out, screen distortion on showing the scarf and her work getting closer and closer to the camera made me put it down quickly. That’s too bad, it looks lovely. 😕

I finished this scarf, it is beautiful but way too long. What size hook is she using. From what I could see it looks like and I in the picture but smaller when I look at it. Anyone know?

Maam wn I casted on 327 stitches I came up with 65 rings...
I got 54 loops(chain 327, skipped the first 10 chains sl st in 11 chain, chained 5 skipped the next 5 sl st in the 6th. How many loops should it be? If i continue with 54 loops will my scarf work up correctly?
same here, I only got 54 rings instead of 55. Means that need to (55 x 6)+6=336, then we can get 55 rings.
After you chained 5 skip the next 4 and then sl st in the 5th.
I had the same question. I did it 2 different ways and got 53 rings, then the other way I felt like I was on my way to 65 so I just stopped.

The beginning is great! But later it becomes a blurry mess!!! If a person don't know how to crochet, they wi;; never understand what is being done.... it is so close to the camera that it becomes half guessing....
Why you don't explain it talking? For me is more simple to understand can't you tell me how many chains are in total pliss tankyou
