What a beautiful and smooth voice you have! Husband was having trouble really getting this bass part and you helped so much. We are ready for Easter Sunday to sing with our little choir now, and can’t thank you enough! Just lovely.
I thought this was very helpful as it has been a while since I sung this in choir. Still struggle at about 1:20 with "is become" and this makes it much clearer when to start it.
Bruh I honestly wish I had that falsetto. Like god dang. I hope I can get it back later. Btw a very useful and beautiful recording! Love it and keep it up
This is so great! Thank you so much for uploading it!! I have a little trouble hearing, and even with the sheet music it's sometimes hard to isolate just one part. I didn't realize there were actually so many high notes to the bass part. Your voice sounds awesome all over the scale. Thanks again!
Yeah, in my experience baroque bass parts are usually in the modern baritone range. Which is a bit awkward - as much as I love baroque music, the bass parts are rather high in my voice 😅
I thought I would make a comment here. Obviously you have never sung the Hallelujah Chorus and/or never read the music. This Is Not "Click Bait" you only show your ignorance by your comment and lack of knowledge. Sometimes Basses complain about how we are expected to hit high notes, but we do it for the love of music

Umm...where was the bass? Didn't even hit baritone! CLICK BAIT!!!
You should take that up with Handel himself - he's the one that wrote such a high bass part 😅
@@StephenKendall So do I understand right that this is the bass part of the song which is, unfortunately, written in baritones' range?

@@StephenKendall Exactly, I have really hard times hitting those notes.
