Anyone calling for Bednar to be fired is a clown. Class act
It hasn’t been a fun series, but I still love Bednar.
I also love bednar but if they come out and play like they did in games 3 and 4 again, something major has to change. Its a lot easier to replace a coaching staff than a roster and thrre is an argument to be made that it appears the messaging has gone flat. Changing the beloved coach would send a clear message that this performance is unacceptable
Problem is that we only show 1 top scoring line now since Val is gone. We need 1-2 punch .. would like to see Midelstead have an impact tonight and Lucky... he has been a ghost this series
@@andrew6815 We won a cup with bednar 2 years ago, we’ve been in the playoffs every year, coaching change isn’t the answer.
As a Stars fan I can say with certainty that the majority of fans expected a barn burner of a series and it to go the distance. I truly feel for Val and his family and pray he gets the help he needs to get his life back on track. It no doubt affected your team and losing JT only added injury to insult. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want Dallas to close it out tonight but I also respect the Avs and expect them to come out flying and this should be a great game. The toughest game to win is always the elimination game and the fact the Stars haven't won 4 straight in a post season that I can remember and never against the Avs. Good luck 🍻
Same. Expected it to go the distance but the Avs have not kept up their end of the deal... they still might though.
Thanks for the nice comment. 🍻
I did not expect a 6 or 7 game series. Vegas was huge for not only getting over the team that's beat us but to get us in a conference final type mentality and readiness
I though it was dallas in 5 or swept. The Avs are the Stars last year, they have one line and that is what they need to win otherwise it's what you saw in game 4, same thing that happened with Vegas last year with the Stars, depth wins.
On Val I don't feel for him but I feel for his family and friends. But he's a repeat offender and can't stay off whatever it is, he's let down everyone over and over. He also bailed on the Stars when we had him. He needs rock bottom to turn his life around, constant privileges after you do this kind of stuff it creates a mentality that you can keep doing what your doing, get a slap on the hand and then get to play again
@larrybrown9883 you’re a true class act! Let the best team win! I’d love to continue the series tonight as an Avs fan! We need a lead we need the Stars to play from behind for a change! Good luck to both teams! Cheers!
And not one word anywhere about the woman he assaulted in Seattle. Class act indeed, at least it wasnt his wife... Oooooppppsss
@@heathclark318 that's an accusation of a crime with zero evidence. If you have seen any evidence of assault, by all means, share that. As far as I've seen no evidence of a crime was ever presented and Seattle police declined to prosecute so what are you talking about?
Also if anyone thinks he should be fired shame on you
I don't think he should be fired, but I think Monday's performance was an absolute failure of leadership. I get that the Avs were gutted after hearing about Val, but someone should have stepped up and rallied them. That falls on the coaching staff.
@@chairmanofthebored6860 I agree he seat his warm. but that also falls on leadership w/in the locker room. That's where this team really misses Landy
Give him one more year. He’s not a bad coach but sometimes you gotta move on from a coach just to shake things up. Edmonton this year, Pitt, St Louis a few years ago. Sometimes it’s the only thing you can do to give the team the kick in the ass that they need.
Bednar is a great coach and he is not the issue. We need the star players to step up.. We haven't seen Mackinnon take over a game this series.. Makar no points past 3 games and Rantanen doesn't look like himself.. maybe hurt..
I don't understand how you see what happened this year and think bednar's our problem LOL you guys need to calm down. Dudes a damn good coach and you tell me who would do a better job.
Need Nate to play like the Dogg tonight.
What’s going on is no one’s fault it’s just a hurricane of bad luck all at once. Bednar is the least of our concerns
Bedsy is the best in the biz
LOL at the fly that landed on his head
Love Bednar's old timey powder wig!
Love Bednar. He is not going anywhere.
MIght get a win tonight...might not. Either way they dont have enough to win this series. Val being gone is a really big deal no matter how they spin it. Such a bummer to 'waste' these prime years of our top players. Offseason will see some changes. How different would this conversation be if they had thrown the money at Kadri that they gave to Val? In hindsight that was a major misfire but who could have known?
After the hotel room incident with the Russian lady who claimed her passport had been confiscated by Russian mafia, and him disappearing in the playoffs... Could have seen it coming.
They were hoping that Newhook would step up and take Kadri spot. We saw how that went. Now, I want to see how Midlestead does tonight. Need more out of him.
@@Gmancan agreed on Middlestadt but I wouldn’t put too much into this game frankly. These guys seem like they are ready to go home. Plus credit to Dallas they have played really well. Even Avs big guns have really struggled.
I mean, the goalie is the only one who got the memo there were games to play after game 1. Win or lose at least play the game to your full potential.
Hes so level headed and I think that’s great for the team overall, but I’d like to see him get fired up a little bit after we play 3 crappy games in a row.
His level headedness is one of many reasons he's an exceptional coach. imagine if he was up, down, wild like the avs fans, including me : )
I’m hoping to see some desperation from the boys tonight, leave it all out on the ice LFGA
Let's GO Avalanche.. Jared Bednar Son works for my Brother. Won't tell you where either. Jared Bednar will not get Fired. He is on a Full Contract with us. Best Coach in the NHL.
Agree with you on that. He is similar like Cooper for TB. These coaches are hard to find.
14 players won the cup 2 years ago. They looked like an AHL team all series.
I touched the cup twice, it's been great.
That fly on his head isn’t a good omen right? lol
Freaking guy is always happy like what does he take?
Big paychecks lol
the biggest mistake was betting on a russian, giving the guy a long term contract; hopefully they will learn
We dont have kadri we dont have comfert we need someone to win some facoffs otherwise we are chasing the puck after every stop in play
God this dude smokes a shit ton of weed.
Nah he’s not a product of poor upbringing like you. Be ashamed.
I demand the entire dallas stars team get drug tested! There playing a lill to well🤣🤣🤣
Maybe they just have 4 deep lines and Colorado only has 1.
Pretty sure they just suck compared to Vegas, Dallas making the avs look JV
Not really, Colorado has play the worse 2 game in Ball arena, they just look like they didn’t want to play, if the Avs loss this game and the series, I wouldn’t be surprised, not as a insult, but like Bednar said, they looked frozen, I love the Avs and watching game 3 and 4 just break my damn heart, just hope the Avs have a little boost of hope and confidence for game 5, if not, then Dallas will just be having fun playing basically against scrap metal
Why is it called Player Assistance? That’s like calling prisons correctional facilities. Don’t sugarcoat it. Call it a druggie den. Player assistance 😂
Bud. It was created with cooperation from players. Players volunteer for entry. Val is a grown man…
Clearly not lmao. Making millions and taking it for granted doing drugs. What a waste. Druggie Den. Player Assistance is a severe sugarcoating.
If only Bednar spent as much time coaching his team as he does on his hair. This is over. Avs haven't lead for a single second this entire series.
huh?
@@paulwakefield1015 I'm guessing reading wasn't your best subject in school.
@@chairmanofthebored6860 what did i miss? You can keep the chat kind and respectful. You realize we are the same team, no? What don’t you approve about his coaching? I’m assuming you weren't specifically talking about literal time spent coaching the Avs. Is there something more specific you don’t approve of?
Chairman, i am curious when you didn't approve of his coaching. Did you not like the hire in 2016? Did you not ike his coaching before the cup win? During the cup win? Did you not like his coaching regular season? during the jets series? during game 1 win against dallas? or sometime after. When was the moment you did not like his coaching?
@@paulwakefield1015 the Avs have had zero answer to the Stars. Their game plan has been exactly the same with no adjustments, despite them never having a lead the entire series. I don't but this squarely on the coach's shoulders because the Avs basically have one good line and a bunch of filler. The Stars are running 4 deep lines and the Avs haven't pressed any advantage that they have. I would have thought that Val's suspension would light a fire under them, but instead they gave up. They looked absolutely lifeless on Monday and that is a failure of leadership.
He’s. So Calm but straight forward. If we don’t succeed then it is what it is. The boys know how to handle this GOOD LUCK AVS 🏒
Does he alway sound this melancholy?
Yes 😂
I don't think you call that melancholy, I believe what you see and hear is called even keeled. Bendar isn't a lead with emotion, he is logical and reasonable.
