- This would be the earliest appearance of the fox and hawk in Australian Kentucky Fried Chicken ads I've seen so far but I wonder if the musical one came earlier...

I guess most of the ads like this was produced by ZAP Productions. I read elsewhere they were also responsible for the "Hugo & Holly" ad too.
I would love to have the calendar it looks very good XD though it'd be hell of a hard job to find.
I bet it would. Anyone who even has one could at least save us the trouble and scan off those images and stick them on Flickr!

Of some interest, I see Fred and Charlie also showed up in South Africa for KFC ads there, though their design and voices seems a tad different from what was used in Australia.
