Looks like I'm making my very first mini album! Your explanation on how to cut each of the pages was very clear and I love the diagrams! It makes it easy for me to see how everything folds and comes together nicely :) So far I've just cut and scored the 5 pages but that was a breeze thanks to your tutorial and I only stuffed up twice so far which is pretty good for me haha
I am so glad that you liked it! This is one of my favorites. I really do love to do creative configurations. Have fun with it.
This has been the easiest cascading tutorial that I have seen so far. Thank you soooooooo much for sharing this. I really wanted to make one as a baby album and you have made it possible for me to get started. I will have to go to the country craft site and see what babyboy and babygirl packets they have so that I can place an order to get started. Thank you thank you thank you. Again thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family and continue to stay safe.
Thank you so much! They have beautiful baby paper that just came out! www.countrycraftcreations.com/collections/country-craft-creations-stamps. Scroll down and check them out. I think you’ll love them!

The deep yellow seam binding is lovely in this album! Fussy cut bees look great on those little tags. Really well engineered pages...wonderful samples and instructions!! Sure hope you keep this tutorial posted for a really long time...I know I'll be coming back quite a few times for review. Your narrative3 is LOADED with advice and tips for success...fantastic for us to follow! Well done!!

Can not wait to try this one. I am so far behind with making albums but lovin this one. Thanks
Stunning! Just beautiful! Can’t wait to make this🐝 I’m amazed that you only used one paper pad and I don’t have to buy TONS of mixy matchy stuff to go with it. Thank you for this!!
Oh my GOD! You are my hero! This is fabulously gorgeous! You are killing it lady! I know have 5 of your albums WAITING to be done. ❤️🥰
You are a gensis! Be very proud of the creativity you have and sharing. We have the same style of scrapbooking. I always cut the page to the size and then add flips or pockets. I have never just scored the paper to get these pages. I can see my wasted (cut off) foundation paper be reduced. So many really awesome tips. Ginger had linked you in one of her video's. Im so happy I clicked it!
Thank you so much for that nice comment. I am glad that the tutorial was helpful to you. :)
What a beautiful project, thanks sooo much for such detailed explanation, love love the pages and how you designed them for no waste, absolutely amazing!!!
I love love LOVE this album! The bee patterned paper is beyond GORGEOUS and really makes that album. Also love how interactive the album is and the fact that the pages are all so different. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I love this one, the papers are fabulous! Thanks for watching!
I'm fascinated by the cascading pages and how you figured them all out using 8 1/2 x 11 paper. You are astounding, and this is a beautiful album!
Thank you so much! I love doing these pages, it’s really fun!
Absolutely Beautiful!!Thank you so much for your wonderful class ❤and Have a Wonderful Blessed Day...
Michelle, you are killing me girl!!! I’m glad I’m retired so I can keep up with you! 😍😍😍
Love this! I have been waiting for the perfect project to use my Bee paper and now I have it.
You are so talented. I just made your Ocean Blue pop-up album and your template was ingenious. Thank you for sharing detailed information.
I'm just gonna have to try this... Looks super easy! Love your tips and options to your pages.😊
This is AMAZING, Michelle!! I love how u come up w/different mini albums, folio’s & all. Ur so talented. Can’t wait to make this one too!! I just bought an explosion box board. Can’t wait to make smthg w/that. I know you’ll come up w/smthg original & amazing. Like always!! Tysmfs!! Crafty hugs! 😍😍
Where is a tutorial on how to make the hinge? Do u have one that goes w/ this album? Thx again!!❤❤
Yes, I’m sorry. I’m not sure how I missed this. You aren’t the first one to ask. I have a tutorial here ua-cam.com/video/SfNyISrCdsg/v-deo.html that at 2:34 started the process of adding pages to the album. I follow the same method for this book. I apologize for the inconvenience. I am not sure how I missed that process here. Thank you so much for asking!
They are added like a waterfall. Start 1/2” in from the left edge of the spine and glue down. Add the remaining pages the same way as a waterfall except for the last. Add the last’s pages 1/2” tab directly on top of the tab of the previous page, essentially kind of backwards. That way no tabs are visible before or after the first and last page. You should have 1/2” gussets before and after the pages and also inbetween.
@@michelleallenacreativeoper6112 Tysm. I just now seen how they were added. I watched it on our 80” tv. Lol! Easier to see than on an iPhone or iPad. Thx again. Going to start my album base now. Hugs. 😘
Excellent! I love this and the paper is so pretty.
It is GORGEOUS! The colors are amazing, the video doesn’t do it justice! Thank you!
This is beautiful! Can't wait to get started on this one! Thanks for the GREAT TUTORIAL!

Your mini albums are so pretty. TFS
Thank you for that, I really love this one, these papers are divine
Michelle, your so talented, you do such beautiful albums. and your paper choice is always awesome.
Thank you! I really appreciate that kind comment. I’m so glad you liked it!
Beautiful album I just started watching you and I really like how you show how to make this. I need to purchase this paper so pretty. Thank you
This album is a must-do! Love the versatility! Thanks for all the details and guide.
dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother during the lockdown xD
@Max Jacoby yea, I've been watching on instaflixxer for since november myself :D
Ingenious!! Absolutely love it~you explain it so well! I can’t wait to make this!!
Oh my gosh - I love this album, it’s gorgeous!!!! I normally use 8 1/2 x 11 paper, so I can’t wait to try these pages. I made my first lay flat album cover tonight, I used your tutorial, it was the easiest for me to follow.
I love this album! I have a Mintay Christmas paper collection that I'm going to use for this book. I was creating the pages to be prepared and noticed on the second page instead of cutting off that 3/4" from below the spine attachment, snip it horizontally only and fold it backwards to use as the closer/connector for the pocket! "Happy mistake" lol
Awesome album! Your description and the detailed pictures make for an excellent presentation. I plan to watch all of your videos. I learned so much from this one. Thank you so much for the effort you obviously put into this.
New subbie. Thank you for this excellent tutorial! Love the paper but it is out of stock. Hope they will get more.
Just found you and subscribed. Beautiful album! I love how it lays flay and is graduated. I will have to watch your previous videos and add this to my list of “must -do” albums.
You have created a beautiful album and done a great tutorial! I am new to your channel and will be looking at the flat page method and other albums you have created.
I just love this and all your configurations. This will work with A4 papers too. 8 1/4 x 11 1/2. Can’t wait to try! Just wish I could get ccc in uk
I just found this cute album, thank you for this! I’m a new subscriber! 😊
This project is soooooo cute!!!!! Do you sleep????? I don’t know how you guys can be so creative and fast !!!! Love it ❤️😊
The muse hit me like a ton of bricks this last week. It’s been a paper hurricane in my craft room!
Oh my goodness! I wish CCC shipped internationally!
Me too!! I watch all these CCC DT videos and want all the goodies from there!
Hi, I absolutely love this tutorial. Thank you for sharing such detailed and informative instructions. This maybe an obvious element to many...so I hesitate to ask...how do you attach the pages to the spine? If you reference a previous video I will watch it to learn. Thanks again, Lisa

Cool Album!
You are so I know you do Mini Albums Covers but have you done a 12x12 Post Bound Scrapbook Album with an insert page protector page? Just the Album Cover???? It can be expensive to buy at the store!
Thank you! I haven’t done a 12x12 album like that. I don’t usually do that size at all. I’m sorry.
This is so beautiful! New subscriber here, tfs 💕
Best video I've viewed! I am inspired to make this! Thank you for sharing your talent... 💜
You are an amazing artist! This album is just beautiful. You did a great job explaining. Did I miss how you attach each page to the binding? I am familiar with creating the page and sliding onto the binding, but you are obviously doing this differently.

You are so very welcome!!! Thank you so much, I’m so glad you liked it! Have fun making the album!
Love the album... can u plz tell which app u used to edit the introduction part of the video? It looks awesome
Thanks so much for watching! I just used my iMovie program. I’m not too fancy, haha!
I just love this tutorial and just ordered materials. How do I find your blog?

Hi. I love this, I’m just not sure how you joined the pages to the album. Just wondering if you glue down the half inch and have the quarter inch up from the spine and then the pages. If this is how you do it, is there a fair bit of wear on the quarter inch piece. Do you have a tutorial as to how to join it that I could source please. Great album!
You are right. They are built into the page scores. The 1/2" score on the left side of the diagram is the hinge that attaches directly to the spine. The 1/4" score is a "give space" that just gives a little extra room for the pages to turn, essentially lifting it off of the spine. I attach the first hinge 1/2" in from the edge of the spine, then layer the rest of the pages after that, lining up the edges of the next piece. I have never had any problem with the 1/4” pieces, but I use Artisan Cardstock and it is extremely durable. In this tutorial ua-cam.com/video/NKAfJlxlY2k/v-deo.html at 1:26 I start putting the pages in the album, so you can see how I do it. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking, I'm always happy to help.
Love this, can anyone direct me to the instructions for the cover please?
Thank you! 😊 The link is in the description. The Lay Flat Cover Method. I hope you enjoy it!
Hi, beautiful album. The paper is stunning. I do have a question, your hinges, what style are does? Do you have a tutorial for them?
Thanks

Thank you! I enjoy learning different ways to build books, from cover and hinges to pages. I do appreciate sharing all the tricks.
I couldn't resist this paper, I just order 2 pads. To pretty. One to use and one to admire. Lol!
Beautiful book...but what binding system do you use?

I've never used this type of page, think I know how to attach, but don't want to mess it up
Go to this video. ua-cam.com/video/SfNyISrCdsg/v-deo.html. I show how to add the pages starting at 2:34. It is the same method for this album. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Michelle I’m being very careful in measuring and cutting my Bee paper so I have enough for the book. The pockets are 2” in height. Did you cover the whole inside of the pockets with the paper above the pockets or did you only come down 1/2” to use the remaining part of that paper somewhere else? Thanks!
I covered the whole inside of the pocket to cover the tabs. I usually do this, but especially if the pockets are on the narrow side. I am excited you are making this!
This is brilliant. Is this 65 lb card stock?
I’m using Artisan Cardstock from Country Craft Creations, it’s 87 lb
So you have a video that shows how to add the pages to the cover please.

@@michelleallenacreativeoper6112 Thank you Michelle. I really enjoyed this video and am halfway through creating this album using some different paper. Thanks for the inspiration
Im trying to figure out how you attached the pages.

But how do you glue them together ☺️
I don’t understand your question. How do you glue what together?

This album, out of 8 1/2 x 11, is a wonderful way to use that size paper! I'd never thought you could get as much real estate out of it, as you could with 12x12. LOVE the tutorial.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you liked it.
