@Train News: I can't seem to reply directly to your comment but the trains didn't make any stops on the Chiltern Line, with the trains running non-stop between London Euston and Coventry. Thank you for your comment.
how on earth did it get from Euston to Coventry on the Chiltern Line?
+Matt James I believe that the train went through Willesden Junction/Greenford in London (not normally used by passenger trains) and then up the Chiltern line to Coventry via Leamington Spa.
