Throwing out the trash for one's wife is nice. But what a married woman truly wants is a man who will treat her like Jesus would...love and accept her as is, cherish her above all others, protect her physically and protect her reputation, have quality conversations with her, have true intimacy with her (not sexual), and give her a few thoughtful gifts here and there. But mainly, she wants a GODLY man!!! I hope men read this...because it will help you in your marriage, but it needs to be genuine.

I subscribe to what the Bible says about marriage, family, and sexuality and I don’t question God or the Bible when it comes to this, but there still are some things that I don’t completely understand. The most common perception within Christianity is that we are not going to be married in eternity. But I have my doubts when it comes to this. If marriage ceases to exist in the Age to Come, then why fight for Biblical values when it comes to marriage, family, and sexuality in this age, if this anyway ceases to exist in the Age to Come?
If the fall of man never would have occurred, would Adam and Eve have stopped being a couple at some point? If they would have stopped being a couple at some point, why would that have happened? If they wouldn’t have stopped being a couple, then why would the fall of man cause marriage to cease to exist in the Creation of God?
And why would the word of God state that the sexually immoral aren’t going to inherit the Kingdom of God if there won’t be any sexuality in the Age to Come? (1 Corinthians 6:9, Revelation 21:8, 22:15) Aren’t these verses implying that there will be sexuality in the Age to Come?
What needs to be said is that I am not a Mormon. I am a follower of Jesus. To me, it seems that most believers have done a too superficial study of the verses where the Sadducees challenge Jesus about the resurrection (Matthew 22:29-33, Mark 12:24-27 and Luke 20:34-40). The Word of God doesn’t contradict itself, that’s sure. This means that we as followers of Jesus could have misinterpreted these verses. Could it be that these verses aren’t saying that there isn’t going to be marriage in the Age to Come, but simply that there isn’t going to be a need for remarriage since death is not present?
The Bible also doesn’t seem to hint that God would restore the creation in its entirety except for marriage and family, but that God will restore the entire creation (Romans 8:19-22, Revelation 21:5, Matthew 19:28, and Acts 3:21).
Then we also have Matthew 19:6: “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” What do we do with this verse?
I simply don’t understand how marriage, family, and sexuality could cease to exist in the Age to Come since all this is one of the most important and foundational things in God’s creation. It simply doesn’t make sense to me. I know all this could be controversial to talk about in Christian circles, but in my opinion, there shouldn’t be any forbidden questions in the family of God.
It is the attitude that immorality reveals that is not allowed into heaven. If someone was married more than once because the first person died, they won't all still be married. Marriage won't be needed then because there won't be a need for any more children to be born.
The purpose of sex is procreation between a male and female. The Lord made it very clear that marriage between people is not a thing in heaven.
If you are stuck on whether or not spirits are having sex in heaven, then inspect yourself that you do not have a spirit of lu*t, because you may find yourself more closely aligning with Islam where sex is the primary activity in heaven.
You won't have a desire to have sex in heaven because you won't be carrying that equipment anymore., because you won't need it anymore.
