- A local Standardbred horse from Cambridge has set a new world record at a race in New Jersey by completing the fastest mile ever.
It took under a minute, 46 seconds for Cambridge horse Bulldog Hanover to complete a mile race and set a new world record.
The 4-year-old horse has a few races left until his retirement in the fall when he will become a breeding horse.
