I'm 67 and was DJing from 1980 to 1995. Such an amazing video and a great song. Mad props to whoever edited this footage, which is synchronized much better than usual. I love the way it encapsulates a night at an underground party with the kids arriving at the beginning and leaving at the end. I worked at Dance Tracks, in NYC's "East Village", and when this came out all of the house jocks were excited. This is the perfect fusion of house tempo and break/rave sensibility. I gave a copy to the late great David Mancuso, whose third LOFT location was two and a half blocks away. Of course it became a staple of the party. The LOFT reopened for about 1 year after Richard Vasquez had leased it for his CHOICE parties for 2 years. Musically and conceptually this was way ahead of its time and still sounds modern!

Rigged up freezing me fookin' arse off but got the job done. Paged studio when it was done. Arrived about roughly an hour back at studio in the flats and guess what was playing loud and clear on the decks?....haha yeah, Setting up freezing on rooftop with just a friggin t shirt and a spliff, yeah yeah, so this is love?....ain't it just :)
