I love how the Adidas Liberty Cups have these plastic thingies that make shoe laces rip faster.. instead of make them rip slower lol. I do like how the eS Evants have shoe laces that are more protected by shoe design. We need more skate shoes like that to be honest.
I've had 2 pairs of liberty cups and the lace protectors made the laces not rip at all, they definitely work as intended.

I always used to end up with tears at certain spots from Ollies, this was back in 02-03, i ended up making these covers(shields) from second hand rubber boots for the ollie hole & laces! Also used to put small flat (not round) rubber tubing (black for black & clear for colours) around the laces at the wear spots! Never had a problem since! 🤘👽👽👽
Bought 2 pairs of 60" black laces. I wish these were around during the late 1980s through the early 1990s when I skate street and mostly freestyle. I did a lot of Casper truck stand tricks and tore through shoe laces in a couple days. Back then the only solution were the VIC Airwalk shoes with lace covers. Eventually the leather flap lace cover would get torn through. These shoe laces look good. We'll see how they hold up to multiple Casper tricks.

I have kevlar boot laces at work I'll have to try on my shoes but I've yet to rip a lace some how this spring
I do freestyle tricks (like caspers and 50-50 truckstands, that literally rip the laces immediately), so I make a duct tape cover, wrapping the lacing around. It's horrible, I know, but it saves me from buying laces ad aeternum. I still have my original laces after 5 months while the shoe lifecycle is nearly full.
Finally get to find laces that will not tear apart on my agressive skates liner.
Check out 'Lifetime Laces' too. They have been running for ages and always work for me. I think they ship to Europe and Asia too.

Been buying work-boot laces for my kicks for many years. They slice off eventual but they’re literally 10x stronger than stock laces. BUT These laces are looking much better and less $ !!! Fukk Yes!!!

Too bad man. There was the OG Skateboarding lace called the "Scoff Skatelace" came out in 2004 and was doing big things till 2009 when it closed up . They had a team of skateboarders though and in comparison from what I can tell. Lifetime, Immortal, F Ripped, and the others are poor attempts at recreating the Skatelace. The 1st OG Skateboarding lace. Why is there a 20min+ infomercial about over priced shoe laces on my front page? Ugh. UA-cam/ride channel, shame! Dude, calm down with the constant hand motions; it adds nothing and makes you look like a spaz. Is this the "rough cut" of the actual ad or did the editor just walk out on the job? Obnoxiously repetitive while being completely uninformative; you should have been able to wrap this ad-pitch up in 2-3 mins. Yeesh
