    Coming from an Elise and brz I caught the power bug. Sold the brz and had a brief run in a super charged c6. The speed was fun but without the balance, it got old in a hurry. Good advice and lesson learned.

      Especially if you enjoy the corners more than the straights!

    Hi Shinoo, excellent video about driving fast Elise and Exige, ultimately it is not the horse power which makes the these cars faster on track , it is chassis and suspension dynamics balance.
    Your company approach is spot on and I would make some purchase soon for my S260 soon. Look forward to your company success and more video !

      Thank you! S260 is one of the best versions of the 111 platform. Enjoy it!

    Great video and approach, but there was no comment on the Phase 1 Car Safety items. Since this is starting point, along with the Driver Safety items, it should be discussed.

      Bernie, we created the Track Trilogy of Terror video to help address the car safety issues. Check out that video to get a feel for the issues. Please also free free to call us if you want to discuss more thoroughly.

    I just want a decent NA solution for power. Keeping the 2ZZ

      We suggest removing as much weight as you can - especially unsprung. This will give you performance enhancements in all categories: acceleration, braking, handling, etc.

      @@InoKinetic Oh trust me, I get all that ! I STILL want a bit more power but keeping it NA 😎

      @@deviklovecraft3835 I heard we can lower the high cam activation point to a lower rpm that unlocks 30hp to the mid range rpms. I will be doing this soon. I forgot what rpm was the sweet spot. You'll have to do some re search

    Only one thing that makes me wince… not that you all are the only ones that do it… but using a full race harness without using a HANS device is no bueno 😨

    • @InoKinetic
      @InoKinetic  3 роки тому +1

      We are big advocates of HANS devices. But we also like head nets and cages and...as you can imagine, there is no end until you've built a race car with all the safety features...

    'Lotus' is the plural of Lotus, per internal Lotus memo. Not a big deal, just a minor irk of mine :)

    • @InoKinetic
      @InoKinetic  3 роки тому

      Agreed, though we've also heard Loti used by many...8^)

      @@InoKinetic Loti - I like that! By the way, great job on the Katana 2; I bought a used one last summer and it is a fantastic setup.

    Fitting a real roll cage into an Elise sounds impossible. I imagine there would be no returning the car to the original condition after that install.

    • @InoKinetic
      @InoKinetic  7 місяців тому

      Correct, it is modification that cuts into the car with permanent mods.

      We did not get the Kseries cars for street use in the US. Some came over as track-only vehicles...my favorite being the 340R!

    The first to put in a 4 point harness in an Elise lol

      Yes, for the S2 Federal Elise - we were the first tuner to do so AND offer a bolt-in solution.
