All they need now is a charging handle and I'm free from Radian's prices.
There are certain things that shouldn't be polymer, and that includes the selector lever.

@@OrientalGoons I have 3 radial model 1s (and a dozen other ARs) pretty sure I’m current. And, unlike you, I actually shoot them. Name one agency or armed forces unit that uses a polymer selector outside B&Ts, of which I have 5)

@@OrientalGoons no, I have a crap ton of guns (Accuracy internationals, including an AX50 ELR( and Sako TRGs, and shoot a f*ck ton, but it’s almost always my AI AXSA, one of my MK12s, my TRG 42 in .338 LM, my SR15, my PredatOBRs (large frame, my 3 small frame PredatOBRs never get shot), my Langdon 92, my staccatos, my P10Cs my G43 and my Cz455. That’s about 10% of what I have and the other 90% collects dust, so to speak. Oh my SR15

I think they were saying you only need a punch if you want to switch levers from the one you installed first.
The punch is for configuring, not installation.
Was gonna get this instead of the Radian but already kitted out my ar months ago. Magpul is still my to go brand though because of how great their products and prices are

Everyone in the comments is asking about a charging handle. If they do make a charging handle I pray they one up Radian and install a lip at the back to block gas like the Geissele. To me the Radian is the most comfortable CH but I don't use them because they do nothing to mitigate gas to the face. (And yes I've tried the SD variant, the Geissele is still better.)
This is the most gen z thing ever. "I need my charging handles to be comfortable for my soft little hands".
@@OneEightNate Haha, a comfortable charging handle is for more than your hands. You ever sling a rifle across your back and have an extended charging handle (Badger Ordnance Tac Latch, Geissele, etc.) stab into your spine? I have and it ain't fun. I don't have that problem to near the same extent with Radians.
Now make a charging handle so I can stop paying $100 for raptors.
You should be buying one of three charging handles: 1) LWRC Ambi, 2) KAC Ambi (overpriced, and I hate KAC overall, but it's the best charging handle), 3) A PRI Gasbuster, 4) if you really have to, a Geissele Super.
One thing you should NEVER do is buy a polymer selector lever, though.

A few points to rebut, 1)LWRC is gay, 2)KAC is even gayer somehow (mostly due to KAC owners), 3) hell will freeze over before I give geissele a single dollar, 4) it isn’t 2007, nobody knows who PRI is anymore and they should have died with the GWOT and finally 5)I’m going to buy a polymer selector lever and I’m going to have zero issues with it, just like I’ve never seen any issues across the dozens of Radian LT charging handles I’ve put in buddies rifles or literally any magpul product I’ve ever owned.

Except that you can't buy it. You have to own and be able to operate a 3d printer to get your hands on one. That's prohibitive for a lot of people.

Make an ambi charge handle that doesn’t protrude as much as the current markets. My radian digs into my back when I’ve got my sling tight
The only ambi charging handle that I have tried that doesn't dig into me or get caught and unlatched on gear is the Forward Controls one. It is pricier than I wish it was but it has settled out as my favorite over Radian, BCM, Vltor. Admittedly I don't have a Geissele with the small levers so they very well might be equal.

While I would love to have one a well, that gun was abandoned in 2011. I don't know if they had too many engineering issues, or what, but I doubt we'll see it anytime soon. With the military's contract with Sig for their new rifles, I doubt they see enough value in restarting development. After all, our money is chump change compared to what the government spends. We get the leftovers.

When did configuration become installation?
@hoppinggnomethe4154 they kind of go hand in hand. If you want it configured a certain way, removal and reinstallation is usually involved.
