Glad to hear it wasn't just me. My tencel shirt gets stretched a lot from wearing it a single time. Then it drapes very poorly over my frame. I put it in the dryer to hopefully shrink it back, but it made the collar very crinkly and it just doesnt look good. The feel is nice, but I much prefer the merino. However it seems they need to be washed extremely carefully, as both of mine developed small holes...
Very informative video in spite of the click-bait title ,-) I bought a merino wool T from Son of a Tailor and I'm very happy with the product. A bit expensive, but if it lasts then it will be money well spent. It's a problem when it's cheaper to throw away cheap T-shirts when they lose their fit. But the same goes for everything we buy in the first world. Breaks...throw it out and buy a new one.
You mentioned the shirt you are wearing is also merino wool, do you have a review of that shirt? And do any of your reviews compare costs to quality, length of use or value ratio?
I find my last couple orders were not good. At first I really liked them, but the quality and feel have fallen off. I tried to explain this to them and they just couldn't understand. And trust me... I have was searching for a company like this for years
in the video, you said you tried a different tencel t shirt from another brand, what was it? 6:46 i am looking for a lightweight t shirt and am interested in the brand Sanvt. but your experience with tencel (lyocell) is scaring me away from their lightweight tee! especially because they do not have free returns for US customers. any more pros and cons of tencel? maybe i should just get merino wool t shirts…
great video man! **had to edit this, yes MTM (made to measure) is the future, why buy designer shit that is bad quality when you can make perfect shirt with great quality to your body measures? It's a no brainer
Thanks for the well thought out and well produced video!
Thanks !!
I appreciate your videos. You are doing a great job to make my buying decisions easier

Yep that's the problem with tencel, it's really loose.

Which shirt are you wearing in the video?
don't bother, too short sleeves looks really ridiculous...
@@Demon-time....2if you have toned arms it looks quite good. Not for everyone though. Just get in shape
Nice video! What’s the brand of the tee you’re wearing?

It was from Massimo dutti, I don't how that from Sanvt would be but merino is 10 times better than any tencel
My fav tshirts are Airism from Uniqlo 20.00👍
