How to Trick Trap Shy Rats

Rats particularly, can be very shy of new traps and food sources. To overcome trap hesitancy when using your A24 follow these simple steps.
Remove all alternative food sources within 20 m of the trap. This includes pet food, bird seed and food scraps.
Install the A24 in a position that you want it to stay for a while, don't keep moving it.
Decoy feed with the trap disabled (remove the CO2 cannister) for about 2 weeks or until the peanut butter is disappearing consistently.
Then install a new CO2 cannister for good results
