Sir i have smart tv, grand videoke and pioner amplifier with a speaker, i don't have problem playing with my grand videoke but it's only limited song on it, my problem sir is if i switch my source to youtube karaoke i don't have output on my microphone i might missing some cable connection can u help on that sir. Hi. Sorry for the delay. I am not actually sure if you can continue to use your grand video k with youtube. I think you have to replace your grand videoke with the new system that i described in the video. Of course you can reuse the tv and amplifier with speaker but you have to get a mixer and mic.
I have an existing soundtown mixer with hdmi arc, swm 15 pro. I have a smart sony bravia tv connected to a denon avr-s 540BT. Based on the manual, hdmi arc from tv should be connected to hdmi arc in the mixer and then to the avr. So i need to unplug and plug it again everytime i would like to switch between watching movie and using a karaoke?
Not necessarily. You can use the mixer as well when watching a movie. The setup works for youtube karaoke, netflix, etc etc without switching connections.

Hi. Smart TV and logitech Z623 are usable for this set-up. Fromn what I can tell online, I don't think your mixer can be used as it does not have the RCA input/output, unless I am missing it.

Which model of Onkyo Receiver do you have? Most receivers do not have a microphone input. My Onkyo Receiver doesn't. It only has the mic slot for calibration and initial set-up but not for singing. Useless no echo or reverb on the soundbar. Karaoke needs reverb and echo, tht is only for speech not for karaoke
There are a few settings that include echo and reverb. Did you try those?
