I'm a retired geophysicist, and atmospheric CO2 at 420 ppm, is historically low. On a very long chart (Vostok), a warming trend starts and is FOLLOWED some 600-800 years later with the rise in CO2. Modern society has little to do with real climate change. Such change is mainly due to Earth's distance from the Sun, and that varies, forcing the change upon CO2. Heat forces the increase in CO2, not the other way around.
