I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. The fact that Rza did the ENTIRE album on one keyboard (Ensoniq EPS) is so amazing to me. #genius
Tyson Statham how do y’all get this fucking information 😂
Never thought that this song would give me such comfort 20 years later, but then it's not really surprising because MM's flow is so good, it's soothing af. ❤️
Agreed, always come back 😎✌️
20years?😂 Almost 30
Ain't it crazy how time flies? You actually got 20 years mixed up with 30 years.... I get it because people of a certain age still look at the 70s as being 30 years ago
@@positivelight5226 yeah I can't believe 2010 was over ten years ago
Agreed. It's be chilling me tf out
A lot of performers were inspired by Wu-Tang and esp "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)"... its an incredibly influential album, so if your idols introduced you to it thank them. And thank Method Man and Wu-Tang for inspiring them. For all the Kpop fans: not only is the hook for CL's 'Lifted' from this song... this album is also the REASON that GD started rapping... I'm gonna go listen to C.R.E.A.M. now cos that shit never gets old!!!

WU TANG CLAN WAS ALSO A GREAT BIG BIT TO WHY MSI SOUNDED THE WAY THEY DID FOR TIGHT/TIGHTER
My friend do not forget Bone Thugs n Harmony this is another group who's influence is undeniable.
Listening to this at the cemetery. My BF of 4 years recently died- I was older than him. He was only 3 years old when this song came out & I was 15. We liked to listen & talk about 90s hip hop & I had him listening to Wutang- it was one of our things. He thought Meth was the best & always ask me if I thought so too. He always sang this to me. RIP😌
Method Man has one of the best flows and deliveries in hip hop/rap history
Loving this Wu-tang American Saga. 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
last episode was fire! Finally getting to see them together...

Love how they showed this song being recorded in the apartment!

Dave East played method man better than method man
"Why did you get your own song? Cause I wrote it" - Method Man
I was watching that 😂
I'm here to look for the comment that he replied.

i just watched that video lmao
Where is comment that he replied??
Method man g.o.a.t. !!!!!!! I don't know you.... Yet! Much love n respect! N not gonna talk too much ;)
Not taking these exams either XD
Literally one of the most solid rappers to this day, the energy is crazy. I have to owe it to meth my love for the wu literally started with this song
agreed! been bumping this album for 15 years now and i have to say its easily the top flow, top3 beat track on there. Meth is just an absolute rhytmic rhyme flow master. Most talented rapper of the group when talking about pure flow freestyle skill. This track is jst a perfect song from second 1, the beat hits hard and the raw method freestyle is just AAA+
36 chambers album iv been listening to since atleast 2000. Lol
I'm with ya homie. Ticaaaaaaaal...what's that shiiit that they be smooookin'...Ticaaaal,Ticaaaal..pass it over heeeere now...

I partly agree. Especially not extremely commercialized and superficial like it often is today ...
Hans Gerber hip artist have gotten too rich these days, which is the element that ruined today's hip hop. Being poor and dealing with it is the foundation of these raps.

All I know is he is an M-E-T H-O-D

Love the way all the members are branching out, reaching back, bringing others with em
This dude's flow is the stuff of legends. Lyrical equivalent of bopping yo head.
Even if I'm physically not I still am
"Wu-Tang Clan Clan ain't nothing to fuck with!" I was younger back when I first hear them say that, but not knowing then, that what I heard then would be the truest sentence i, still to this day, believe to be damn true! Wu-Tang for LIFE!! RIP to ODB!
still one of the best songs i've ever listened, respect from italy bzz suuuuwuuuuuuuu
Meth definitely got the most Swag

Thank you, Luke Cage, for introducing me to the rap marvel that is Method Man. :)
Everest Liu lol I loved method mans cameo. I've been a method man fan for years, and I almost cried when I saw him

That's great. #is. 💙💙💙💙💙
This is probably my favorite Wu Tang song, M-E-T-H-O-D man. You dont know me and you dont know my style.
What is even more special is that last sentence you quoted from method man. That right there is one of the most simplistic, but realist bar written. Method man is one of the greatest to rock the MIC!
One does not simply put an adele ad before a wu track
+Pits134
Ad Block Plus

El method Man, he was so ahead of his time, lyrically he was beyond his time, I remember growing up and listening to the Wu tan clan along with other monsters of the best rap era of the 90's!!!
This proves that Wu Tang is unstoppable.. using just ONE of their members lol
dumb ass comment lol. it just shows his talent as an individual
july 2019
And meth was arguably the best one
Dean Karras I’m sure it’s like when a game releases trailers for they’re characters, Wu-Tang as a group is unstoppable ofc, everyone knows that, but songs like this show that ofc they all have talent, you still don’t stand a chance against even one member cause they’re individually great
@@avullo96 nah GZA and ghosface are better
Back when the Rap is all about the flow not flex....
There was flow and flex back then tho

I have an important story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.
Amen
i dont care
I passed both dirt and water, only wutang clan was in headphones, I have been with you since 12 years, now I am 36, Your flow is stelit and as always at the highest level!
