Rosie Doonan - Songwriting (Long Division

One good song can change the whole world, and at Long Division we think everyone can be a songwriter..
Here, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist Rosie teaches us how to build a song from melody, then
adding chords, before writing our very own lyrics. She plays some of her music on guitar, and you get
a chance to sing and play along too.
This tutorial video is intended to be used as part of the #YoungTeam​​ Discover online educational
programme. ‘Discover at Home’ gives you the chance to try out lots of different music making, and
record what you have learnt in a logbook. You can submit your work and gain a qualification and
certificate from Long Division.
