and yeah, there is none documentary film where they say häyhä right :D
Yes there IS..... But those are Finnish made 😊
@@joniniiranen2741 i meant foreign made ones lol
Häyhä. Ä should sound like A in the spoken word Angry. Usually english speakers say Heiha.
Internet really likes Häyhä. He used not to be such a big celebrity.
in winter war the most used way to kill enemy tank was to stop it by puting a log or something between tracks of the tank and then throw the molotov's coctail into the tank's air intake. easy :D
You can actually read Simo Häyhäs diary online. If you just Google those words
Haha don't worry about pronouncing Häyhä. It's impossible if you ain't a Finn 😄 still funny to hear everyone try it
whenever a foreigner uses finnish name: THEY ARE NEVER PRONOUCED RIGHT
if you want to know how simo häyhä is pronounced, you need to wait until you hear a finn saying his name.
period.
dont ask if thats how it is pronouced because you can answer the question yourself:
Was the narrator a finn, or an american who doesnt know what umlaute (ä) are? havent you noticed that all americans
Just ignore the decoration above ä or å - and pronounce it as "a" ?
yes. that is stupidgnorance ignoridity... one of those.
i rest my case
And those soviet soldiers who were on finland was from ukraine, and you know ukraine is kinda south, so imagine being them on -49° only wearing a wool shirt... Well for finn that wouldnt be much but for russian it is.
Häyhä should be spoken like its typed
Ye, meth fueled Finn is quite a story of ups and downs. It's bit light hearted in a way that it's just a story of survival while dripping balls in middle of a war. XD
No need to stress pronouncing so badly imo. It's a miracle to hear any kind of foreign pronounce finnish names right in sports or F1 also.
That plane thing is ww2, but not winterwar bcs finn's didnt have planes during thst time. AND THE ONLY SNIPER WAS SIMO HÄYHÄ.
Finland had about 100 planes. Most of then old bi-plane Fokker's, but few newer fighters too. Five Brewster Buffaloes from USA, 23 French Morane-Saulnier's, later few dozen Fiat G 50's, Bristol Blenheim's, Hawker Hurricanes and so on. Finns bought planes everywhere they could, and thanks to Germany, most of them did not arrive in time. Germany and Soviets were allies at that time.
@@RoyalMela in ww2, but none of them were used during winterwar, and If were, only few Times
@@RoyalMela they didn't buy anything from anywhere, maybe bcs they couldnt and fought with everything they had
