  • Just a quick video of Baggage Car Barnard being tested in case any modifications needed to be done. It runs flawlessly! More to come soon with progress on the rest of the cars.

    That club layout is huge. Looks like a fun place to run your locomotives. Now that it passed the test run, time to send it to the paint shed.
    Thanks for sharing. 👍 👍 👍

      Thanks David, the club layout is a lot of fun. I can’t wait to run the completed train. But first, it’s time to get painting! Thanks for watching, John

    At least you know that it works. Better to find that out before paint! I got my first HO scale purchase in a long time, an Atlas Central California Traction GP7, I live and work not too far from the prototype and met Dave Stanley who worked for the CCT and wrote a very nice book on the line. I'm looking forward to hearing the 567 sometime soon!

      @@RailserveJohn Heavens shall we pray that you get a train cave or basement / garage someday. We will all celebrate with the joys of what you could do with a larger space. :)

      Thanks Tom! I must admit... I have been tooling around with small details procrastinating the paint job lol I don’t want to screw this up. Although the roof took the primer and paint very well. So it’s time to lay down some of that custom mixed paint lol

      I know some say having people frozen or vehicles in a position where they should be moving can pull from the realism. I sort of do the same. All vehicles on my layout are either parked or stopped somewhere. Even the figures I try to move around. I believe I herd that from Mike Confalone and it looks like they model very similar to each other. But both of their layouts are incredibly inspiring. It’s crazy how big this hobby is lol love it

    • @JohnMullerJDGCTRy
      @JohnMullerJDGCTRy 4 роки тому

      @@RailserveJohn You're right on that. There are some that use a tacky so they can be moved. I'll be 70 next month, running trains from 3 and my own HO layout at 7. You have no idea how far the hobby has come.
