It’s a beautiful bit of work I have the thumb stud model the D2 is very well tempered and it holds a lovely edge. The shear simplicity of the breakdown is a joy and the fit and finish is excellent it really does put some much more expensive knife companies to shame. You can if you get in touch with real steel they do actually do a thumb stud that fits the blade in the notch out provided.
I agree, really nice design and great looking knife. I don’t really avoid many steels except non stainless, still have a few but not a D2 fan. Just having the fuller keeps the knife nice and slim. I’d be OK if I had to use 2 hands to open but the fuller seems to work pretty good.
I was on WMK shopping yesterday, and I almost bought this one but the one with the thumb studs. I wish Real Steel would go back to using 14c28 like they used to. I'm tired of the whole D2 on every budget knife thing. It's better than 8cr, but I'd much prefer the 14c28 they were using before the whole D2 thing blew up, and they decided to jump on the band wagon. Still, a very good looking knife. They do have a lot of very good looking designs.
Great offer! I would go for the thumb stud version...
Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

It reminds me of the Kizer T1.
It almost looks like a modern Sbenza.
It's a locking Luna.
