We are a Filipina-Indian couple from an 8 year LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP. We are, Jay Ann from Negros Occidental, Philippines and Abhinav from Patna, State of Bihar, India. We received our greatest blessing on February 8, 2021, when our daughter, Mishka, came into the world and join us in our journey in life. This is our story, our journey and our FAMILY.

I hope you can also teach Mishka some of our beautiful traditions such as "pagmamano", saying "po't opo" and others. I haven't seen her & you as well in doing it. Maybe Abhi won't mind it either if you do these traditions. It's a way to let Mishka know the 2 traditions that India and the Philippines have. This is just a suggestion but if you decide otherwise, it's really up to you. Thanks & God bless always.

Thank you for the suggestion, but please know that if we are with our own Filipino people we are teaching her our Filipino ways. But since we are in India and we’re with Indian people, she should be taught the Indian way of showing respect. It may be different in gestures but the point remains the same - giving respect.
@@jaybhislifeTrue enough & glad to know about it. But I guess it wouldn't hurt at all that even if you're in India Mishka will be familiar & aware of these traditions that is uniquely in the Philippines. Just giving my two cents worth.
If you are watching from her previous vlogs, if they are with their Filipino Community friends, sinasabihan niya si Mishka na mag bless sa mga tita and marunong mag bless si Mishka, pag naman indian pinapahawakan niya sa paa yung mga elders. just my two cents too.

It's nice that each of you respect each other's religions❤. I salute your in laws. My former Indian students here in the Phils are just like your in laws. They even pray in our churches especially the Redemptorist Church in Baclaran (Our Mother of Perpetual Help Shrine.

Mas gusto niya po sa likod umupo. I always offer the front seat everytime we have guests. It’s also a way of giving respect na ibigay sa kanya ang gusto niya.
