One time I made my sim Tara Scott as a teen I remember when I was 16 when I made her have 100 babies with different fathers. She was in high school when she got pregnant at age 14 because I wanted to have kids at a really young age so Tara eventually gave birth to twins Rohan and Ronan and raised them until they were elders. She is now a adult and she is living with her daughter Norma, her son Cole and her children love her so much and when I created her as a teen I edited her and made her own version of her
It’s annoying to me that it’s not even realistic for all elderly people to be afraid of death, I work in a nursing home and most of them are very calm about the fact that they’re getting closer to passing. Of course some of them are still upset about it but after living to 85+ you usually are pretty chill lol
Tbh if you’re a elder and suddenly have the task of raising your grandchildren i bet you’ll be scared of death aswell 😅just the fear of what would happen to them if you pass
I unintentionally had this storyline recently where my kids mom randomly had two more kids when my kid was a young adult. So I took them in like her grandparents did for her and now I have quite a full household.

You’ve shown me a legitimate reason to play with babies with this let’s play. I had no idea that babies build relationships with the people who take care of them. I hate playing with babies in the Sims, but really do enjoy playing with toddlers because they’re so cute, so most of the time I just automatically age them up unless I’m doing some sort of challenge.
Yeah learning you could build relationships with bbs is a game changer and its way easier to build relationships with the bb cause they don't get distracted

I always find myself playing the exact same storyline, two young adults get together, they have a baby, get married, raise them up until they're an elder and then play as their son/daughter after their death, and then repeat the same thing. I've pretty much always had G2W. i think it was my second pack after C&D, so i almost always send my sims to the hospital, but i still put the bassinet down because i like to have my pregnant sims "nest" and decorate the room far in advance of labor

I’ve done a kind of a trash bag family. 2 parents who are lazy slobs and a teenage brother who is mean and hates children. I played as the poor little girl who was stuck living in a trailer with them and had to make a life for herself despite her shitty upbringing. I had her start making money as a child and a teen to save up for college and pay her way through. It was sooo much fun
Good play-thru. to keep the storyline going, what if... the grandparents pass and TBM inherits the house. But by then she's an alcoholic or crack-head and can't maintain the house, burns through all the money. The kids are taken away or go to live with other relatives (friends). Then come back later to deal with TBM. Get her in rehab or put her in a home. Then they rehab the house. I've always been interested in a devolving storyline ending up in a dilapidated crack house kind of scenario. Can it be revived?
For this kind of gameplay where you want to save like every sim day, in mc command center there's an auto save (available through the computer) feature that you customize and set for every sim day so you don't have to worry about it :)

Janet and Perry are quite admirable for raising Carrie's children. ❤️ Carrie on the other hand, is truly worthy of the term Trash Bag Mom. (￣ヘ￣) If you continue this storyline, I think Janet and Perry should write their good for nothing daughter out of their will to teach her a lesson for being so selfish. Maybe give her the bare minimum so she doesn't contest the will and leave everything else to the grandchildren, and the children once they're all grown up give their Trash Bag Mom hell for abandoning them and then running back to them after all these years.

You can send the Sim in labor to the hospital to have the baby there, you don't habe to join them either and then they just come back with the baby in a crib that'll spawn automatically haha
It took me 62 Sim days from baby to child to complete all their aspirations and Max all their skills MC Command Center is a God sent LOL That was for my twin sims.. i also completed the Power couple scenario with it..

Just wanted to say I truly enjoy your videos and this last one was really amusing and funny just to give you a heads up the way you get rid of fears - If you go in there’s a potion and they can drink it and get rid of their fears, so grandpa could’ve gotten rid of his fear of the dark and the fear of death by drinking two potions!!! I don’t know if MC command Center will help you, but there’s definitely that happy sim’ing!

It’s kind of annoying how all elders run around scared, since the wants/fears update. They’re all scared of death.

Omg , same . I was raised on Sims 1 where you could not manually age up the baby so were forced to Feed/Play/Sing (only options).

You can remove fears by going in to the aspiration reward store there is a potion when drank will give you the option to remove a fear
