My friend built this in our Minecraft world and it’s really awesome and works great. Me and him are both doing a lot of your tutorials, such as two iron golem secret doors, auto potato farm (don’t remember if this is yours or not), secret fireplace doorway, tune doorbell, and some others. Thanks for making a fun time in Minecraft with my friend and I :)
Sat. 08-15-20 I made this EXACTLY as your tutorial showed. Everything worked fine at first. Left it alone for about ten minutes while working on something else, came back, got on a horse and horse, minecart and I fell through the floor after moving about 2 squares. Once we fell through the floor the rest of the animals/minecarts followed. My sister and I have repaired this 3 times and each time, it will work for a round or two but if we turn it off and leave the area and then return to ride, we fall through the floor and all the animals follow. We play on Windows 10 Bedrock. Your tutorial stated it would work. It does not. Please help. Thank you.
Built this very carefully with my daughter, we checked it multiple times and we've done it exactly per the video, but when we turn it off, the piston is being re-powered by the block above the observer (diagonally) which turns the piston back on and becomes an endless loop and won't turn off. We're running 1.16.5 Java edition. Research seems to indicate this is working as designed (BUDs)? This is a long shot but anyone on here have an idea how to fix this diagonal powered piston so we can turn it off? Thanks and we love your tutorials!
Oh! Just fixed it! Replaced block above observer with a glass (non-conducting) block and now it turns off instead of turning into a perpetual motion machine. Yay!
dude after I put the honey blocks, I tested the carousel once again to make sure everything worked properly but my outer circle wasn’t working 😢😢😢😢 I don’t know what’s wrong, it’s always one of my pistons is not PUSHING ughhhh
Hey Fed X, I've got an idea, Why not make the center where you have the blue ice into a fish tank... Love to try out all your builds and your videos are top notch.
You should rename this as "How to build a working Merry Go round with the newer version of Minecraft(no mods or commands)" because here I am playing on a ps3 not getting anymore updates
I recently tried building this in vanilla Minecraft creative 1.15.2. I got to about 6:45 and found that turning it off with the switch didn’t work. The sticky pistons that completed the circuit next to the observers seemed to pulse on and off. Throwing the lever again locked them in place but the machine no rotating blocks no longer worked. I can’t seem to find the problem and was wondering if it’s a mod or version thing.
is anything in the way of the ride, i had the same problem and i couldn't find it so i re did a little of it (not all of it) then found out something was in the way, if nothing is truly in the way then cheek the red stone
Same for me. Turn on the lever, pistons push the block up into place connecting the circuit and it all works fine. Turn the lever off and the stick pistons bounce up and down creating an intermittent circuit and the ride carries on. So cant turn it off without breaking the redstone on the orange blocks.
Anyone figure out how to stop the carts/horses from falling through the corners? I have tried multiple times--make sure I don't bump carts before dropping, tried all horses, no lamas.... Ideas?
How to stop horse from falling through the corners. The honey blocks won’t stick to my carts. The carts still go even without being on the honey block as soon as a corner comes they fall through the floor
No.. but I started working on other things. When I get back to it and figure it out (unless someone else does first) I’ll let know but I’m sure there’s a way
I'm not sure what I did wrong lol I did all the setup with redstone and only the inner circle would move. the only piston that wouldn't work was the outer base terracotta block spot. everything worked other than that! Do you have any suggestions on what to do?
This looks so cool! But only part of it worked for me... it must be something that I did so I re-did it but the outer part of the redstone stuff does not move for me, only the middle will, even after I re-did! Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix that?
You need to connect the lever with the piston, then put the connection for the second row under the first row starter piston then connect it to the lever
That's awesome! But my piston is always blocked by honey blocks, and sometimes,The piston inside will squeeze out honey blocks and cubes,How should I solve it?thx
Did anyone else find a way to fix the minecarts from glitching through the honey blocks? I put glazed terracotta underneath and around the piston tape so there's less likelihood for the minecarts to go all the way through the bottom, but it hasn't fully fixed the problem. On a side note, I found that you can grab the animals from the minecarts by just tapping them with a lead to rescue them from the depths of the redstone and they'll hop back above the carpets so you can put them in there again...
Built this is works great. However when I switch it off the circuit pistons keep firing. I'm sure I'll find a work around thanks for the video I had fun.
Just completed your merry go round everything is working well but I have a problem as the merry go round is moving all my carts start to fall out of one of the holes in the corners of the outside track and the inside track so annoying can you please help me to correct it so they don't fall out of the tracks
