I personally went to the showroom to see new nexon, beautiful car ,but when i put first gear,the gear travel is so long. It shouldn't be like that. My uncle has a grand i10 and that car has only 1/3 rd of Nexon 's gear travel length. Now in this car he said it pulls left while hands off from steering. I don't know why such issues are still there in a tata. These are birth defects,which sometimes incurable by their weak service ,which combines to make a fan unhappy and concerned. I'm a tata fan,but i would keep waiting for a better tata( in the mean time i'll go for some brand else,money is hard earned. No patriotic keyboard warrior harmed )

You don't have to accept anything. All brand cars pull to the left at high speeds on highways. It only exposes how this guy prejudicially thrashes Tata cars alone. Its called road Camber. Highways are usually built slanted to the left for draining and safety purposes, which cause the vehicle to pull left.

At the end of the day it's their money if they are going to buy it they have to know what are the strings attached with it .
The Reason being motofam is the only channel addressing and find out all pros and cons A to Z. Ex..In this particular product review i watched some other popular channels they only speaking about surface of the product like speed, sound, infotainment etc.. these things are not help to get valid buying points. I agree with you. I own a Tata Nexon, and Tata really needs to improve their quality control. The finishing is very poor. I have compared it with Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) and Maruti, and they are far better than Tata. If someone from Tata is reading this, please improve the quality control and finishing.
They are developing a tgdi engine for curv. They should have waited and given that in this car. And they must improve the car's fit and finish and quality.
You pointed out everything very clearly. I myself test drove the car. The steering pulling to the left was not there. May be the particular car you drove may had the issue. High speed stability was good. I was never able to guess the speed. 100kmph felt like 30 kmph. Turbo lag is comparatively minimal when compared to 1.0 engines. Cons: Engine noise is very audible, refinement should have been better. Hydraulic clutch and travel is so long.

They are experts , but in real life we may not notice , not enough technical knowledge to experience, so 10 15 km drive will be better . How much notice , how much speed pickup, etc depends person to person

Tiago and Tigor had a JTP variant( a few years back) focussed on performance at high speed. Everyone who bought it sold it within a year. The dealer's service absolutely screwed the car. The exact same will happen with this. They know the difference between performance tuning and regular tuning.

Safety is there bro. No doubt in that. They are like tanks. But still, quality issues from factory itself, along with poor service support makes it miserable. They are evolving,they can do it,but taking too long. Hope one day ,they will fix all these.
I have tiago .. I have supported TATA in mutliple forums for providing secure car. Am not backnig from the secure and stable perspective. But there are issues which we cannot deny at all 1. Mileage drop like anything.. Currently I get only 12km/h in city but altroz gives easily 15. No response from service centre. 2. Fit and finish is not that great , 3. Cabin noise is too high. 4. Sales experience is really bad 5. Service experience is even worse. 6. Refinement is not that great. For e.g., when i drive i10 in highway, engine feels so refined.. I can just cruise easily 7. Everytime when we shift gear, you can feel small jerk. This is really irrittaing, if you have pregnant women in car. They easily get dizziness. My advice. If you are first time buyer and not know about car much. Dont go to tata showroom . They are the worst.
There are few areas you can go for tiago 1. If you have small family 2. You live in congested area where parking is an issue 3. If you need to drive it in traffic.. Because being a small hatchback easy to drive through 4. High way stability and cornering confidence due to high kerb weight 5. Harman music system 6. Good Power Not to choose tiago 1. Low mileage in city 2. Cabin Noise 3. Engine Vibration and noise Not to choose tata 1. Worst sales and service experience 2. Not much offer if you go and buy from tata. For e.g., My friend had lot of extra accessories, under body paint done for free.
I have a i10. It's 10 years old. I wanna change my car. After racer launch I added this in my bucket list. But now I won't go for this car. This is not a professional work. Even My 10 year old i10 still don't have shut lines and panel issues. I accept Tata body is stronger than Hyundai. But this is so unprofessional. Is this a govt product ?? Price will be low so that we can compromise some quality issues.
i20 N line still offer better engine. But Altroz wins in overall package and safety. Take test drive and decide. I would suggest to buy Altroz specially for Safety.
If you're ready to work with niggles and have capabilities to convince your service engineers.. you're ready to own this... On me Tata Altroz diesel will be choice of cake in Altroz .. good lower end torque helps city commuting effortless, also good mid range gives you ride pleasure on highway.. also fits indian mindset Good mileage as expected.. DPF issues are there you need to rev engine to keep that away ..

Sir, I own a Nexon. It doesn't have automatic door lock, that is when the car moves, all doors don't lock automatically. When enquired, Tata Motors people clarified that in case of emergency, when rear seat passenger wants to come out, they should be able to open the door on their own. Otherwise they won't be able to open if it is automatic lock. It is a safety feature

Other You tube reviewers posting Tata altroz racer review, but this channel posted regular Altroz review 😂. They are pointing out same cabin noise, fit and finish, engine sound, door lock issues. Provide review of Racer edition, don't tell same old stories.
Now a days there is no perfect car something we have to sacrifice it may be a diesel engine or ventilated seat or gimmic gatgets. Test drive your own ( any vehicle) take a decision.

I have a i10. It's 10 years old. I wanna change my car. After racer launch I added this in my bucket list. But now I won't go for this car. This is not a professional work. Even My 10 year old i10 still don't have shut lines and panel issues. I accept Tata body is stronger than Hyundai. But this is so unprofessional. Is this a govt product ?? Price will be low so that we can compromise some quality issues.

i20 N line still offer better engine. But Altroz wins in overall package and safety. Take test drive and decide. I would suggest to buy Altroz specially for Safety.

On me Tata Altroz diesel will be choice of cake in Altroz .. good lower end torque helps city commuting effortless, also good mid range gives you ride pleasure on highway.. also fits indian mindset Good mileage as expected.. DPF issues are there you need to rev engine to keep that away ..

Sir, I own a Nexon. It doesn't have automatic door lock, that is when the car moves, all doors don't lock automatically. When enquired, Tata Motors people clarified that in case of emergency, when rear seat passenger wants to come out, they should be able to open the door on their own. Otherwise they won't be able to open if it is automatic lock. It is a safety feature

Other You tube reviewers posting Tata altroz racer review, but this channel posted regular Altroz review 😂. They are pointing out same cabin noise, fit and finish, engine sound, door lock issues. Provide review of Racer edition, don't tell same old stories.

Honda v cvt manual or brezza NA would be the best pick.Else get the astor base variant which covers everything. This anemic petrol engine with poor noise and roughness is not worth to buy.
