You can make that background black if you want by making adjustments in camera. No need to alter the sliders in Lightroom if your setting are on point in camera

i would love to work w/Thirl & get some nice portraits, he has a great look, also looks like a mellow person that allows you to play around to create different looks !! 💪🏼💪🏼!!
