Subject Pronouns in English - Basic English lesson for beginners
This English lesson is for absolute beginners and is ideal for students who have had NO English at all. This can be used in your classroom or at home as English lesson 1.
I show the meaning of each subject pronoun. The first time is without the word written on the screen so that students pay more attention to the SOUND of the word to improve their listening skills.
I don't use grammatical words or say singular or plural or first person, third person etc. I just show and use the subject pronouns in English ... I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
In the second part of the video, I repeat the same demonstration of the pronouns though this time the pronoun appears written on the screen as I say each one.
Next there is a section where students can practice what they have learned / learnt. I mime or show a pronoun and the student has 4 or 5 seconds to say which pronoun it is.
At the end of this video I have my two summary charts.
