You seem to be a good planner Jason-and thats good to see!! So many other guys are just running around crazy with no thought or plan on what they are doing.
@@richardbarkley9909 appreciate that. When I got into hotshot I leased on to a company and that’s what the dispatcher did, just picked the best paying load in my area with no planning whatsoever, which obviously landed me in a dead zone the first week. From then on I realized you have to have a plan.
As far as tires go that we talked about yesterday- I'm guessing that with winter coming that you will encounter snow emergency routes up where you are?? I remember when I lived in Maryland many years ago that there were several. Anyway....Wondering if you can get away with running all-season tires and not actual snow tires on your rear drive axle over having to get and fool with chains?
@@Jmoffit22 I honestly don't know the snow emergency route laws and requirements. Firestone makes an A/S version of the Transforce tire that is slightly more agressive but certainly not an all out "snow tire"
Sometimes 4x4 and traction/snow tire will get you forgiveness but plan on drive tires and having at least one drag chain for the trailer. Having a spare set for drive is never a bad idea either, but I live in snow country too.
Just curious, what Keyboard are you using with your IPad? I saw the mount listed. How does it do with the job bounces? Love the videos. Are you still looking at a transfer tank? Someone said Aluminum due to rust in the steel ones…. If you can cut out a fuel stop a day or buy fuel at a better price…. Just set it up on direct transfer to the fuel neck.
I've noticed in your other videos that your license plate was bent up from the lower left corner, I thought it was that way for a reason. I'm now thinking that something was/is/did catch it and has now torn it off....
@@Jmoffit22 what would you reccomend I heard motive is good? also what's a good factoring company? just starting out need to find out what would be a good route to go their mostly all work same but different rates and benefits???
@@ATJR.Logistics motive is good 👍 I use triumph factoring, they don’t offer me no recourse factoring so that’s a bummer and they require a contract. However, the factoring companies that do offer no recourse are often more strict on broker approval so it’s six and one hand and a half dozen in the other, if you catch my drift.
@@Jmoffit22 thank you! been watching you for about 2 months great content going in non cdl but working towards my cdl just to get some experience before I get hauling those bigger loads
Ran up through that way last week. Man your poor truck😮 those roads are rough. Stay safe out there!
When you forget to plain to sleep lol
Cool ending. Nice bike 😎
Jumping on my shovel for a fall ride now. Stay safe driva

@@Jmoffit22 The only thing dispatchers and brokers care about is the $$ in THEIR pockets!
Guess it depends on you bud what you feel like doing
Check the load board, take time and for to reset your bearings, a navy term. You have two choices and trust your gut it’s always right.
I miss the original flame-broiled large diameter Whoppers of the '60s & '70s....
A bike ride will get your head right. Enjoy and ride safe.
