This video is simply explaining the two options you have of purchasing the G320RC from the Davesmotors.com website. If you are installing into a Baja 5B then purchase BB125C if you are installing into a Losi 5IVE, DBXL or Redcat you will need to purchase BB125D. If you want to use an aftermarket clutch housing on your Losi or Redcat vehicle, save yourself $5 and buy the BB125C.

+cbeck611 Yes, there is a 320PUM as well. The first batch they had problems with con rod bearings. They have been fixed and will be shipping the new version in the next few months.

The BB125C is what you need for the Baja 5B. The small aluminum spacer that sits underneath the 5B clutch housing needs to be shaved down about 2mm. This piece: www.ddmracing.com/hpi-102164-spacer-set-for-fuelie-engine-gunmetal

I have been running 110 octane since the day it was born not a hickup yet alot of people dont know zenoah recomends 98 octane min in the g320 tried 93 when i ran out of race gas it sucked compared to 110 .

I have some questions regarding your Zenoah G231 PUM marine engine
1- can it be made into a electric start instead of a pull start?
2- what type of transmitter and receiver equipment would I need for it?
3- are there any other parts for it such as propeller shafts,propellers,mounting hardware etc?
4- what is the max weight it can push without burning up?
+DaveStarr4 I don't have any first hand experience on the marine engines; just the air cooled RC versions. I assume it can probably have an electric starter affixed to it. When it comes to gas boats we usually send people to funrcboats.com

New to gopeds and motors. I have a bigfoot goped and I'm thinking of motor swapping the stock L23gh to zenoah 290. My question is if I get it with a clutch would I have to get anything else?

Helo I went to the site and it shows the redcat and losi 5t using the same engine. I have a redcat chimera Sr would this engine work for it? And if so what option do I select
Yes. Select the short clutch option. You need to use the redcat engine cover and clutch plate/clutch plate bolt OR use the CY parts listed in the description of the engine.

Is there a video on how to tune this engine and I was wandering when you get the losi dbxl does it come with a exhaust pipe that is tuned already that you can put with this motor.?
+Bryan James Hi Bryan - I have not done a tuning video, but really the principles are the same for this engine as the stock engine. You will want to use 25:1 in your fuel/oil mixture. If you have a tuned pipe it will be a different adjustment from the stock settings and stock muffler.

I want this engine for a go quad what would I need
You will need to use the clutch drive on your go-quad, part gt201. Your seat will need to be trimmed a little because the engine moves over and would hit the seat back. It is not too bad though, we have one here at DDM that we have done that to. We use the extra long spindles too with dually wheels.
@@DDMSteveB How good is the torque down low? I’m thinking of using one of these for my next project. The first project I used a 460 on it and it’s awesome but I like the reliability of this engine in the video and it’s a small bore so it would get better gas mileage.
@@fishnfreak18 Compared to a 460 it will not have the same kind of grunt. That is just the science of displacement at that point. Of course gearing and things can help give back a bunch of torque and low end power, but you will lose out on peak speed.

do you actually need to change the fan cover for the dbxl? it doesn't mount using the fan cover like the 5ive
Yes, the DBXL and 5IVE will both need to use a CY fan cover (DDM part# eg411, or use the stock one from the original 23cc engine)
DDMSteveB excuse my ignorance, but i'm not sure why? the dbxl doesn't use those holes you mention in the video for engine mounting.
if i have a King motor X2 roller, do i still need the CY fan cover?
Is that the clone of the Losi? It depends on if the clone company followed the CY bolt holes or if they made something weird for Zenoah bolt holes. You could probably use the fan cover from your stock engine onto the Zenoah though.
i got no motor at the moment lol, i bought it as a roller, and yes its a clone... very popular clone, its a king motor or rovan (what ever you feel like that day lol) the stock motor is a fuelie 34cc... so does that help?

typically no, as that is the intellectual property of the engine builder. These are two stroke engines that are just on a smaller scale, so the theories behind port timing etc of other two stroke engines still applies to these smaller engines. A little research will go a long way.
DDMSteveB i know for the most part 2 strokes are all the same iv been fixing 2 strokes for yrs on bikes and sleds and am 1 of the best around . I asked because the deck is closed porting and want to see one and others mite like to too . Save the stupid research comment for someone else. Your reputation for having a mouth must be true. Easy to do behind a keyboard or desk.
Which one fits the FID dragon hammer
Fairly certain the Baja/Kraken version is what you will need. The stock engine in the FID is the Zenoah G290, right?

evildoctorchan1 Late to reply to this; but Zenoah states this engine is a 20% increase in power over the G290RC, which was rated at 3.5HP. With a tuned pipe this engine is a very excellent engine and has a ton of power.
what is the HP rating on the g320?
Funny thing is Zenoah rates them at 3.5HP and says they have 20% more power than the G290RC; which Zenoah also rates as having 3.5HP. They definitely have a lot more zip than the 29cc engine.
