I didn't expect to see Shadowhunter's rework before Dragonslayer. I guess now that Book 3 is finished, Devs had a bit more time for class readjustments. I wish they extended the crit bonus from 3 turns to 4, though.
I'm returning player from 2008, and everything is much different than before! I was able to get my dragon in DF, and just noticed you have this special ability "Fury!" on your dragon that i didn't have! Where did you get that ability from?! Awesome battle by the way!
I believe you have to grow your dragon in Book 3 Sunbreeze Grove to get that skill. Growing your dragon also gets you a free 200 points, so definitely don't skip it!

Seeing people win inn fights with nonDC classes just reminds me how bad I am at the game, especially since I still can't win against chaos lords even after coughing up thousands of DC to buy armors at Cy's X (
Nah, it's weird but revamped NDC classes are actually better than DC classes now (except KAA). And Chaos Slayers is a super hard fight. I'd definitely go Ranger or KAA on that one. The inn progression guide I linked in the description might also be helpful to you!
You can train ShadowHunter by turning in Bloody Monster Hearts from Simone's Castle Valtrith quest in the Calamity Saga, or from the Mogloween Chapter 8 Onslaught quest if you have the storybook
I used Prey on T13 (2:45), which becomes a deathproof effect if you've used at least 2 Gun Combos. Deathproof is basically what it sounds like, though the one thing it doesn't protect you from is DoTs. Chaosweaver, DeathKnight, and Wrath DragonLord also have deathproof skills that are easier to access than ShadowHunter's (at least right now) if you want to test them out!

Don't know which classes you bought, but most DC classes suck, few exceptions.
