I just installed the ER9 groupset with the older front derailleur design. I made sure the chain was sized properly , added a chain catcher and enabled gear protection via the app. I found no chain drop issues using this method. In your video it almost looks like you could remove a chain link or two. Anyways for the price I think it’s great deal!
Yes, I know what you mean, some countries do. I am from Taiwan, in Taiwan we have this regulation too, but if it is for personal use, and the quantity is ONE, then it is OK. When I order anything with radio wave oversea when I was in Taiwan, like bluetooth keyboard or bluetooth mouse, the post office always want me to sign a paper say that is for personal use. But in USA, the post office never bother to do it, I guess USA do not have this rule.
I've been using er9 for about half a year. Perfect shifting. But I've hit into a problem with pads clearance (distance between pads and rotor) control. Rear brake doesn't work after first press on the brake handle when pads have about 70% of resource, front - when there is ~30% of pads.Seller doesn't answer for my questions
i run this ltwoo electronic before the old version. but i sold it to someone. my biggest issue with the old version is chain drop when shifting to small front chainring. wonder to see how good this new version hope seen your review after ride this thing for more miles.
I have the original version. The chain drop is due to your limit configuration. I had a chain drop on my first ride. Realised that it’s further out than what I originally set to, so instead of aligning for the chainring, I adjust the limits and it has not drop since. Running HardCvr crankset (11S) from Aliexpress. 12S HG lightweight cassette + 12 speed chain
yeh 1st..anyways I just installed a Er9 & Erx on 2 of my bikes(merckx & Emonda),dialed it all in ,so far these grops are awesome for the money,I hope LTwoo come out with a rim brake version as I have 8 roadbikes with rim brakes,I didnt get the updated versions as u did
If you’re thinking of L-Twoo, I cannot strongly enough recommend against it. I have two group sets, the RX and the GR9, and they’ve been a disaster. Unfortunately, I don’t have the platform that Trace/GC/Panda has, so L-Twoo just dgaf about my issues, and I’ve been stuck having to replace both with Shimano/SRAM. All-in, I’m out 2x what I would’ve been just going mainstream in the first place.
@@faithwyar The first groupset had a repeated issue with the derailleurs (plural). The first one failed after 200 miles, and the replacement failed after 100. They refused to send another, saying it was an issue with how I installed it, but it was installed by a UCl pro mechanic who is familiar with Chinese groupsets. The gravel groupset ended up with a similar issue, but I think this was actually with the shifter not derailleur. Regardless, they refused to warranty any of it. I replaced with 105 and Apex, so now I'm out WAY more than if l'd just bought SRAM/ Shimano in the first place.
@@faithwyar To sum up, the risk is that L-Twoo doesn’t test before they push products out. The consumers are their test bed, and they just assume the loss of some (like me) makes up for the dollars they’d need to spend to test. Plus their customer service is nonexistent.
I heard that the new eRX 2.0 electric groupset will be released in June. Can you confirm this? I do like the new color branding more, it has a blue color to it.
The “Blue” Edition is for sale now but the problem is that none of their official dealers have it. That’s my problem here in Thailand. L-Twoo told me that it available but don’t want to sell it to me as I am individual. They just refer me to their dealer here in Thailand and he is only willing to sell me the old version as he does not have the new version on stock. Frustrating
Thanks for the review! Would love to see how the new Wheeltop EDX TX groupset compares to the updated Ltwoo
Sure, I will try it soon:)

How is your er9 performing so far brother?
If it struggles before shifting, it’s your height (distance) between FD and chain/chainring
Thanks for the tip 😁
Hi, can you give an update on how it is performing so far compared to the older version? Would really love a long term update
I believe that if you purchase such devices from overseas, there will be legal problems with radio waves,
but are the regulations in each country lax?

This is using BLE , if these is legal issues with this, then every laptop and wireless mouse that goes through the airport every hr will be stuck .
Can you share which Aliexpress store you purchased from.... Thanks

What do you mean a disaster? Details would be really useful for folks to understand what the risk is

What is the maximum size of cassette? I saw yours quite big cog.
A couple months in and they haven't released the version yet 😢
This is Ltwoo response.
Hey there,
New version of eRX is not ready, it's expected to be released in Sep. Please keep close eye on it.

Tested yesterday, not pass :/
I've swapped out 7070 calipers and they worked fine.
Can you give me a link of the product? Can't find the new version
I think it is not yet released in Aliexpress, but will soon.
Oh, I see

Hi, where do we buy this new set ?
How do you think this one is compared to wheeltop eds tx?
do you know if there is a compatible oversized pulley wheel for the eRX rear derailier?
Stone and other 15t pulleys work fine. Just make sure there's room for the lower cage.
Does anyone know what ospw compatible with old er9
Is L-twoo contact with you to test their product?
Does it have auto trimming? If not, no group for me👎
