Hello, I've been writing for more than 30 years, if you spend more than a year trying to sell your book to the 'powers that be', and get nowhere, do not dispair. (I'm also a published poet...ho hum). You can publish your own work for as little as $1200, also you may 'crowd fund', providing 'rewards' to your followers. Oh, by the way, good luck, (My 1st book was on Amazon, being sold by people who had some how got my books, then sold them secondhand; no money to me and now the 'smart money' have kept it for the future wealth. My 2nd book does not have an ISBN, so I have taken back control, though it cannot be found on 'bookfinder'! The publishing world can be a minefield, just like the music world...)
