I'm proud of this video! This is what California is about, beautiful mountains, and deserts. So this song isn't completely about California as may some know. It's about Anthony Kiedis' (front man of the Red Hot Chili Peppers) girlfriend Danielle "Dani"
So they had a Bonnie & Clyde relationship, which I've read, where they would do drug runs and robberies. Danielle died in California before she could make it to Minnesota.
