should the person who hires entertainment,have the ability to pick through your set list and choose the songs they want to hear? Don't forget to subscribe and like, if you want to that is.🙏

I've played weddings where we were asked to play certain songs, and certain songs not to play, 7 days is a short time line for sure. The fact that you ripped that solo on a Gretsch is pretty awesome my friend.

I think it is okay to ask for songs that may have special relevance to the gig you are playing, as for picking your set list is a bit much IMO.

Its not too realistic on their part with only a wk to rehearse , if they gave you at least a month that would be different. I would have tried to add in one or two of their songs perhaps in that time frame. They mustn't play music or an instrument or they would have had more of a clue for sure.
