I think people underestimate how much trust plays a factor in ASMR. You have someone speaking to + looking directly at you in a very intimate way. This craft can have slight hypnotic effects due to the relaxation it induces + watching often can make you vulnerable emotionally. Maria is the ONLY artist I watch + listen to for this reason + she has always done an amazing job of making me feel safe over the last 5 years 💛

Back when I did hair, I would have classified her a slightly warm-leaning neutral. It's hard for those of us with very fair (or very dark) complexions to figure out our undertones, LOL. Fair gals get pink in the face easily, so we think, "Oh, we're obviously cool!"

Maria never fails to soothe me, relieve my anxiety and lull me to a better place. I really miss her cooking videos, though!!! I still need to make her "love potion" chicken patties❤️ my grandparents came over from Russia, and I think that hint of accent that Maria has brings me right back to childhood, when I was safe and loved. Adulting is HARD- Maria, you make it so much better❤️❤️

I love the cozy and light-handed fall theme. Fall is almost a trigger all by itself for me but sometimes it can get a little strong! I love the colors and the pumpkin without it being over the top.
