I still can’t believe I got to meet Hayden Christensen at NYCC 2021 (he even got to turn the Empire State Building red that Friday). Outside of Star Wars I remember him from both Jumper and Shattered Glass (which my Journalism class got to watch). Given Rosario Dawson and Hayden both started in Shattered Glass, who would’ve though they’d reunite as Ahsoka and Anakin!
Fun Fact: Christopher Lee also voice acted a few times. Most notable for me, he played Ansem the Wise in Kingdom Hearts 2.
add in Spock and Luke on that list
And Count Dooku in The Clone Wars movie.
He was also King Haggard in the Rankin Bass movie The Last Unicorn
"We could always buy some sea salt ice cream."
This Series is so interesting and I've found out things I have never seen. Pls keep making more and blowing my mind.
interesting that Nsync was suppose to be in star wars, because I always thought Kanan from rebels kinda looked like a retired boy band member.
24:55 Christopher Lee also played the King in Rogers and Hammerstein’s The King And I on a Studio Cast album in 1996 which recorded the entire score and much of the dialogue. He was so talented
Really fun once again Suspect. The fact that I now know about the existence of Christopher Lee.... singing Jingle Hell.... My life is just a bit better now.
I almost choked eating when I saw Ross headbanging to "Jingle Hell". 😂
Episode III should be fun!
Meeting Anthony Daniels on my birthday was one of the best days of my life.
So fun trivia about "other" clone actor, Bodie Taylor. The 2008 and onward Clone Wars animated series used a second Clone Trooper CG asset during episodes that take place on Kamino, you can spot them mixed in with the usual Clone Troopers here and there, they look slightly different from the regular Temeura Morisson-like Clones. It's implied that these are "Bodie" Clones, so to speak.
So we know (based on your previous video & this one) you'll eventually do the other Star Wars episodes, possibly the Home Alone films, the Harry Potter Films, possibly the Fantastic Beast films, the Spider-Man films, the MARVEL Cinematic Universe, the Pirates of the Caribbean Films, the Hobbit Films, possibly the Lord of the Rings films, etc.
My vote for this series is that you eventually do a video on Jurassic Park!!!
Super happy that your continuing this series as I'm really enjoying it. It also gave me the confidence to do a similar series I had been thinking about doing for a while involving voice actors so I thank you for that.
Also for films to do in the future I think a video on Scott Pilgrim vs the World would be good as there's a lot of well known actors in there that might surprise some people.
I'm going off the rails on this recommendation but I just think it'd be *wild* if you'd cover revenge of the sith next. I know, I know, going off the reservation on this one but idk, I just think it'd add a certain je ne sais quoi to the series.
Damn idk dude that's a bit of a stretch
It's worth mentioning that Hayden's first film role was a small part in John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness
I look forward to your Revenge of the Sith episode!
- I actually remember seeing Jay Laga'aia on Play School in Australia, so even at a young age I was like "whoa that's the Star Wars guy".
- Nice to see you vouching for Hayden, honestly I don't even think he does a bad job in the movies, it's just Lucas' style. Yay for him returning in Kenobi and probably Ahsoka.
- I looked up Leeanna Walsman when I was watching Australian sci-fi series Cleverman, and I was like "oh wow, she actually went places since SW".
- Okay, Jocasta Nu being a former lover of Dooku is something I did not expect to hear, but it shows that deleted scene where she talks about him in a very new light now. I wonder if the love thing was an oversight or it was designed to be another parallel between Dooku and Anakin (maybe Dooku wanted to continue pursuing the relationship while Jocasta was like "no dude we're Jedi we have a job to do"?).
- Rena Owen actually returned to voice Taun We in The Bad Batch. It was only like one or two lines, but it was something lol.
- The Legend of Johnny Lingo's composer is apparently also Kevin Kiner, aka the guy who did The Clone Wars? But wow, the Logan-Bodie Taylor connection is VERY trippy. Also lol, Sharknado 4 cameo is VERY on the nose.
- #ReleaseTheNSyncCut... okay is it just me or is there an awful lot of singers in this movie's cast? N Sync would've been the icing on the singer cast cake if they appeared. Okay screw that, #ReleaseTheMusicalCut, I want to see Jango Fett and Count Dooku's musical numbers.
Its always a great day when The Unusual Suspect/Ross Thompson uploads a video!
This is a brillant series idea. So interesting thanks for doing all the research for it!
I'm starting to like these kind of videos, both informative and entertaining.
Another excellent and well-researched video. This is honeslty a great series to be watching, as it opens up so many things to be checking out for those curious.
Glad you're carrying on with these, I love researching into actors careers. (Being one myself!)
Got to meet Hayden and McDiarmid at MCM Comic-Con, along with John Rhys-Davies, three weeks ago! Easily one of the best fandom experiences I’ve ever had!
So you met Anakin, The Senate and Sallah
@@thebandit0256
Yeah boi!
Loving these !
I’ve been waiting for this video
cant wait for more of these!
The amount of work you put into this and getting all the clips; I applaud you👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Haha, thank you! Yeah, all that resource gathering is immensely time consuming, I appreciate you mentioning that! :)
No joke, I rewatched the first one of these vids earlier today and wondered when the next vid would be and lo and behold this gets uploaded a few hours later
Beautiful vid!
You’re looking well! Great video
Another fun fact. Christopher Lee was offered the role of Tarkin much to his regret
Love this series!
I'm liking this series. It's fun and interesting. Great job Suspect!
Brilliant series!
This idea is awesome
I feel always sad but thanks to your I feel happy again so thank you
This is such an interesting series!
Another Star Wars and Final Fantasy actor is James Arnold Taylor who voices Obi-Wan in The Clone Wars and other animations and games, as well as voicing Tidus in Final Fantasy X
Wow, didn't know that! Thanks for sharing!
Jimmy Smits was also in Dexter, season 3.
Oh nice, cool that this is now a series.
You deserve a tonne load more views and comments than you receive. You make excellent videos!!! Hope you keep making them as ive loved them over the years. Here’s to the next one 🥃
This is cool. A video game actor version would be cool too.
Love this series it's always interesting keep it up suspect
Who knew there was so many Australian actors in this film. I’m Australian and this is my favourite Star Wars film, weird isn’t?
I saw your video on my recommended and I immediately thought of the king has returned
That was so much about the actress who played Aunt Beru that I forgot who you were talking about in the first place.
EDIT: Marton Csokas also was in Kingdom of Heaven with Liam Neeson.
I think it would be fun to go over all the Disney animated features in this series.
Given what happened with Ed Sheeran and GoT, I think Lucas made the right call with NSYNC.
Love it.
Thanks!
Fun fact about Matt Sloan, who played Plo Koon: Sloan did a comedy skit in 2006 where he did the voice for Darth Vader. Lucasfilm seemed to like the impression that they kept him to play Vader again in The Force Unleashed game in 2008. Since then, he’s done Vader’s voice for countless Star Wars games and Lego Shorts.
Chad Vader: Day, and later, Night Manager, aka my childhood. Lol.
Different Matt Sloan I'm afraid. That was a different guy apparently:
Plo Koon Matt Sloan: www.imdb.com/name/nm0805992/
Darth Vader Matt Sloan: www.imdb.com/name/nm1623635/
Weird coincidence!
@@TheUnusualSuspectOh wow. All this time I thought it was the exact same guy. Thanks for clarifying this.
Can't wait for the Revenge of the Sith segment.
Great video!!!
The next one can be about the mortal Kombat movies? (From the 90)
Def try the pirates movies!!
I don’t think I have the same respect for Christopher Lee as you do, because all the movies that I have seen him in, he’s barely there. I have seen him in the Star Wars movies, the LOTR movies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sleepy Hollow. How could he be a legend if he never shows up? Well, I think it’s because those movies came out when he was old, so I think acting got hard with him due to old age, and he’s not the only one. Another old man actor, Al Pacino, I saw in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, he had two scenes, and by the second one I forgot he was part of the movie.
Another great one, thanks Suspect. Id say do the Lord of the rings next for a series on this stuff (after Ep3 of course)
Released on my birthday.
Fun Fact:
Before he starred in the *"STAR WARS"* prequel films, Sir Christopher Lee,
along with Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin in the first *"STAR WARS")* were both offered the role of Dr. Sam Loomis in *"HALLOWEEN"* (1978), but they both declined and the role went to Donald Pleasence. Christopher Lee would later admit that it was the biggest mistake in his career.
Also, Daniel Farrands, the writer of
*"H/>LLOWEEN 6"* wrote the important role of Dr. Terence Wynn for Christopher Lee, but sadly the role went to Mitchell Ryan instead.
Do more videos like this. This is fun
Christopher Lee was also an inspiration behind the character of Bond as both he and Fleming were actually relatives. He was also offered to marry a Swedish prince by the actual king of that country. If that’s not enough, he was also offered to appear as Dr Loomis in 1978’s Halloween, along with fellow Horror/Star Wars actor, Peter Cushing. He turned it down, another move he regarded as a mistake, but also like Airplane, it’s hard to imagine anyone but Donald Pleasance in that role. He was also the only actor in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films to have met JRR Tolkien, he witnessed the last execution by Guillotine in France, and finally, there’s a funny and terrifying story of him on set, and for a scene where he needed to be stabbed, he corrected the script, if he were stabbed in the back, he wouldn’t be able to scream… What a bloody legend.
The casting director really liked actors from the lands down under and frankly, that's a good thing. Lots of talent down there.
I love this type of video do a ice age movies
keep doing star wars its the best
LETS GO
Danke!
Thank you so much!
12:00 Man, if Maggie Smith never got casted in Harry Potter, Alethea would’ve been great as Professor McGonagall!
I’m sad you didn’t mention that Edgerton was in a 2015 western called Jane Got a Gun with Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor.
Hey Suspect, I’m planning on doing my own talk videos here on UA-cam in a similar style to how you do it. Do you have any advice on how to maximize viewership? Also where do you get your background music?
Watch time is everything. You gotta hold your audience's interest for as long as possible and when you do that, the UA-cam algorithm will reward you. So I'd advise making your videos shorter than mine. As my long-ass videos have poor watch times, hence why they don't do well (but the mashups do).
Also, be sure to title, tag and describe your videos well. Follow this guy's advice: ua-cam.com/video/rpwD50v0Ubo/v-deo.html
As for background music, it's all from the UA-cam Audio Library. Which is fantastic as there's a ton of tracks to use which don't cost you anything. You should see a link to the library on the left hand side when you go to your dashboard.
@@TheUnusualSuspect thank you for responding man. That’s solid advice. I hope your channel continues to grow as well.👍🏻 And for the record, I enjoy your long videos
Isn't curious how many of the actors here are musicians too?
Kind’ve want to see a rundown of The Clone Wars actors. Most characters are voiced by the same crew of regulars, but there are a bunch of neat guest stars every few episodes. Like Phil Lamar, AKA Hermes Conrad from Futurama playing Kit Fisto and Bail Organa.
29:14=my favorite role of his was The Equalizer!
Ernie Fosselius also got a writing credit for "Lapti-Nek" in Return of the Jedi.
21:44 I was distracted 💀
I thought Ernie Fosselius's name sounded familiar, so I looked at what else he's done outside of what you've mentioned. He's also the voice of Kongol, one of the main playable characters from "The Legend of Dragoon." It's a pretty overlooked PS1 RPG these days.
14:48 I knew I recognised her
I would like to see an episode of Every Actor in Transformers
Well obviously we're going to have to complete the trilogy, perhaps even all of the original six movies, after that, do whatever you want.
Cool.
I can't wait to see Hayden in *Kenobi* and *Ahsoka* .
Daniel Logan was also in an episode of the non-canon web series Star Trek Continues
Another fun fact: Tumera Morrison played a pirate in the movie "Six Days and Seven Nights" which starred Harrison Ford
Can you do one for episode 3?
OK, how did I manage to watch a video with a random Jingle Bells song on December 1st?
and temuera morrison was also the Villain in The Marine 2 ( yes WWE Stuidos The Marine film Series)
At in sharknado Daniel Logan character is wearing a helmet that sports the colours of boba fetts helmet
Hayden probably could have done a pretty good Peter Parker honestly.
Soon, can you make a sung of movies "All Star" by Smash Mouth (Interview with a Vampire, The Man in the Iron Mask [1998], Star Wars, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Titanic, Ace Ventura, Muppets from Space, Hocus Pocus, Harry Potter and more?!
What movie to do next? Well, I'd say finish up the star wars prequels, but I'd honestly like to see one from one of the mcu films.
*sees Susie Porter as a droid and in live action* this is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them.
I think the matrix movies would be an interesting series to look at, if only for my own little game of spot the Farscape actor.
I think a movie you should do is Die Hard and make note of all the actors there
yay
Me:
8:00 Let me guess, matthew wood
8:04 Of course it's matthew wood
Ayyyy I thought it would be a one and done. Glad it’s not👍. Also whenever you’re comfy with reviews again how about u review the original trilogy?
If you keep these videos coming, I'd like to see jurassic park or batman (1989).
Count Dooku name was Darth Trynus.
Also this was new generation 00s new who lee was
How did I not know that Dormé was in Bridesmaids?!
Abin sur is the name of who tamura played in green lantern
Am I the only one who was surprised that Suspect watches / knows the SuperCarlinBrothers
BROOOOOOOO OMG MY COMMENT ACTUALLY GOT FEATURED
Congratulations, It's pretty cool to have a comment featured.
@@noelgarcia3959 literally unreal, I’ve been watching suspect since I was 12
Do this for more movies like the Harry Potter franchise
He's gotta finish star wars first, he prob will move onto Lord of the rings
Albus Dumbledore is played by Richard Harris aka Oliver Cromwell
Think you'll ever review ironman 2
