I’d say the two that impact the actor’s ability the most (besides the actors) is the director and acting director whatever they’re called. The director is in charge, so should be conveying what he wants from a scene as well as facilitate the actors with the right conditions to do so (as well balanced of a shooting schedule as possible, enough reshoots etc) and the acting director (if there is one) needs to be able to lead the actors towards the right direction for the story. Obviously not every actor is 10/10, but a lot are good enough for the roles they’re picked (if it’s a suitable role).

He seems happy with his life now, and Star Wars, fans everywhere universally praise him, but Hayden Christensen was DESTROYED after the Star Wars prequels were first released. Wasted on bland direct to DVD movie like scripts before he left acting. Then it came full circle and he started being loved for the Star Wars performance and now he's back in stars lol.
I watched 21 jump street for tne first time last week and was very shocked to see a young Brie Larson lol. She really is a great actress. Its unfortunate that the Captain Marvel movie and subsequent Avengers press tours turned so many people against her.
Barkhad Adbi, the man who played the lead pirate in Captain Phillips. His performance in that movie was absolutely electrifying, but he hasn't been in anything other than small side roles in Good Time and Bladerunner 2049.
Just accept small budget indie roles, they always have the best stories, but I can't argue with them if they want a big paycheck to star in a boring blockbuster movie but starring in small production is also a great rocket fuel to stardom
1:15 I have never agreed so much on this take. It's honestly surprising to me that out of all the three Spider-Man actors, only Tom Holland who always gets casted in shitty movies after his Spider-Man contracts, while Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire got in some really awesome movies.
i initially thought dakota inherently had wooden performances. then i watched dakota johnson in the suspiria remake and i was floored, she was in her element in something dark, brooding, and even surreal. highly recommend people see it if you wanna see dakota johnson really dazzle (or horrify)
That take about Tom holland is just the same thing that happened to Tobey Maguire, he did other films but he often was rejected bc he was known for being Spiderman.
she had some successes in more niche stuff less of it being a big blockbuster that people talk about for ages, her time in marvel only peaked between wandavision and MOM (she has been in mcu since Age of ultron but let's be real the two i mentioned was where the spotlight shifted to her)
Love & Death is a show she did recently. Seen decent reviews on it and based off trailers it looks to be good. Haven't given it a watch yet, but it's on my list.
Wait, you've totally forgot to even mention the actor with the best skills, best performance and the WORST agent to work with for consistently putting him in very bad and mediocre projects out there, that actor of course being The lovely Henry Cavill. It is almost criminal due to how much dogshit projects he's been on ie "The Witcher","Argyle", The Entirety of the DCEU😢. At least got to being in "Deadpool & Wolverine", too bad it just a small Cameo that didn't amount to anything
Well his cameo mostly Marvel test to cast him as wolverine if hugh jackman retired, he actually planned not to playing as wolverine/logan anymore but ryan manage to convicted him to comeback .
I think the 5 most waisted talents modern history maybe even all time Brie Larson Daisy Ridley Haden Christensen Tom Holland Henry Cavil Brie Larsons case: I think the reason why Brie larson isn’t getting many roles is because of her take about not wanting to work with 40 year old men or something like that and i think because of that directors probably avoid her for that. I actually feel bad for her this might be controversial bear with me but i think she was right and i think we need more diversity in films just given all the chaos in today’s culture. Daisy Ridley : I think shes just in a Starwars situation to where just playing in Starwars is a curse and because of the bad writing she just wasn’t able to get into other roles. Hayden Christensen: Same thing with Daisey Ridley at the time with the Attack of the Clones hate people thought he had bad lines thought the movie and didn’t think he wasn’t a good actor witch is not the case he deserved better and would have been some of the best modern actors ever like the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio if given more roles Tom Holland: i think with his case he aaa waisted because of what you explained just given bad roles and not having a good agent like the Uncharted Movie was just totally awful and thats not his fault i put the blame more on Wahlberg acting wise and kinda screwed Tom Holland with it. Henry Cavil: i don’t really know why he’s not getting roles i feel like maybe his acting style doesn’t really fit with a lot of movies that might he be why he hasn’t gotten much roles outside of Superman 2013. Crazy long comment i know but this why i think these Actors and actress is why they aren’t getting roles. In conclusion i think the all time wasted actor has gotta be Tom Holland just absolutely wasted tallent i know i said Hayden could have gotten bigger roles but Tom had more potential and the most in my opinion.
Dakota fired her agent after Madame Web, maybe she will get better work next. Brie was good in Room, but she hasnt impressed me in anything else, Im start to think that was a case of a director getting a great performance rather than Brie being a great actress.
She was great in 21 Jump Street and Scott Pilgrim though. I feel like she genuinely doesn't enjoy playing Captain Marvel or is close with the Avengers cast, hence why she always seems uncomfortable when doing interview
Tom Holland is someone I started to give up on as an actor. For the past three years, he kept saying he wanted to leave Spider-Man and said if he’s still playing Spider-Man until he’s 30 then he has done something wrong! But then he makes a deal again with marvel for another new trilogy. 🌚 The fans started to get confused on what he wanted to be and what he kept contradicting himself. If you’re only excuse as an actor to keep playing Spider-Man because of money, then you’re ruining your own legacy. Actors like Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt know full well they would make a lot of money with their status if they did a movie with Marvel. But they don’t care about the paycheck. They care about telling stories that will impact people years later. Great movies make less money and bad movies make more money. We already know this. Tom Holland literally does not need any more money at this point. He’s just doing this to himself. He has so much talent to give to real cinema outside of marvel, but he just wants to be in his little marvel box until God knows when he wants to leave. 😂 I get he’s trying to do other things, but he keeps relying on blockbusters in general. He needs to leave the blockbuster cinema cage cell, and do something that’s going to push him over the edge. But if he just wants to be a blockbuster actor, then I have to move on from him as an actor because he’s only going to give us so much. His best movie is the devil all the time on Netflix! That’s when I realized Tom Holland can really do a lot of great things but nothing good since then. 😭
I feel like Marvel is guilt-tripping him into playing Spidey until they declare bankruptcy or something. That and most non-Marvel blockbusters starting him are kinda eh
Hey woah the devil all the time isnt terrible though. You are right about using Zendayas agent. Man was able to convince the world her wooden acting is award winning somehow. Maybe Tom would be able to show he has some acting chops

I'm not even subscribed, maybe this one will be your lucky video
did he turn into penguinz0 at the end?
Glad I’m not the only one who hears Penguinz0 at the end of the video
Bro just pulled a MoistCritikal and said "That's about it, cya" LOL
bro devil all the time is a really good and underrated movie.Hollad was really good in it
“I have the potential to beat a special grade?”
Calm down megumi
Im sukuna so oil up megum
Literally the entire cast of the star wars sequels

Profit.
Choosing the rolls is another major reason why actors get bad rolls, wether its just for the money or just bad management
0:11 EYE reveal 🔥🔥🔥🔥
"Mom, can we have Cr1tikal?"
"We have Cr1tikal at home."
Cr1tikal at home:
He seems happy with his life now, and Star Wars, fans everywhere universally praise him, but Hayden Christensen was DESTROYED after the Star Wars prequels were first released. Wasted on bland direct to DVD movie like scripts before he left acting. Then it came full circle and he started being loved for the Star Wars performance and now he's back in stars lol.
Dakota Johnson? I thought we were counting actors with talent.
well Dakota's going to be in an indie film with Sean Penn in a taxi cab. That looks good.
I watched 21 jump street for tne first time last week and was very shocked to see a young Brie Larson lol.
She really is a great actress. Its unfortunate that the Captain Marvel movie and subsequent Avengers press tours turned so many people against her.
"Cute marshmallow" lmao
This mans channel has come a long way from the days of twiddling a pole on the toilet.
Grant Gustin (Flash)and Tom Callavah (Reverse Flash):
Barkhad Adbi, the man who played the lead pirate in Captain Phillips. His performance in that movie was absolutely electrifying, but he hasn't been in anything other than small side roles in Good Time and Bladerunner 2049.
Just accept small budget indie roles, they always have the best stories, but I can't argue with them if they want a big paycheck to star in a boring blockbuster movie but starring in small production is also a great rocket fuel to stardom
Well because indie movies are tricky you can got good masterpiece who will hit or total garbage who will flops
This aged like wine. Dude has a role in the next Nolan movie
Henry cavill, 100% the dude needs to fire his agent
1:15 I have never agreed so much on this take. It's honestly surprising to me that out of all the three Spider-Man actors, only Tom Holland who always gets casted in shitty movies after his Spider-Man contracts, while Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire got in some really awesome movies.
Bro pulled a Moist Critical at the end
i initially thought dakota inherently had wooden performances. then i watched dakota johnson in the suspiria remake and i was floored, she was in her element in something dark, brooding, and even surreal. highly recommend people see it if you wanna see dakota johnson really dazzle (or horrify)
Mememulous at home
Known for just being Spider-Man. What a problem to have…
Did you just hit us with the Charles White outro
Dude just came to complain and left 😂😂
That take about Tom holland is just the same thing that happened to Tobey Maguire, he did other films but he often was rejected bc he was known for being Spiderman.
Only Andrew Garfield ironically doing well outside Spiderman
Bro got straight to the point, no fluff👍
I think Elizabeth Olsen could also be on this list.
Really, She's been pretty successful outside of Marvel roles
she had some successes in more niche stuff less of it being a big blockbuster that people talk about for ages, her time in marvel only peaked between wandavision and MOM (she has been in mcu since Age of ultron but let's be real the two i mentioned was where the spotlight shifted to her)
Love & Death is a show she did recently. Seen decent reviews on it and based off trailers it looks to be good. Haven't given it a watch yet, but it's on my list.
What?? Definetely not
Lizzie is fine though. She just stops doing blockbusters and focus on more lowkey stuff
Love&Thunder was a dangerous movie for both Bale and Crowe
Adam Sandler is a good actor, but most of his career he made comedies that didn't use a fraction of Sandler's talents
He was in that spaceman movie recently where he played a more tragic role
I feel like being in Marvel is a death sentence for the rest of your career unless you were part of the original avengers
1:17 i disagree Devil All the Time, Onward and Spies in Disguise are good, maybe not memorable but good
i think he did awesome in devil all the time pulls off that Southern accent like a mf
Personnaly i think uncharted was a good movie
Dakota and Tom are some of my favorite actors right now, loved ur take on the both of them!
Bro thinks he's penguinz0😂
You do realise Charlie didn't start the whole youtube commentary thing.... right?!
I liked onward, that movie slapped idc
bro is NOT memulous 😭🙏
Cherry and devil all the time are two of Tom's best movies. He's incredible in them.
0:33 Wait
They made a franchise out of 50 shades of grey???
Yep
Unfortunately
Yeah, one of the best comedy series I've seen
Yes
I almost thought the movies were well liked until I remembered that they were books.
Honestly vacuuming the floor is pretty funnn
Wait is Tim holland getting the Michael j fox curse but in different way
The room was so gutwrenching and phenomenal
The title made me remember Nagito's line "What a waste of talent"...😔😢😭
I think the 5 most waisted talents
modern history maybe even all time
Brie Larson
Daisy Ridley
Haden Christensen
Tom Holland
Henry Cavil
Brie Larsons case:
I think the reason why Brie larson isn’t getting many roles is because of her take about not wanting to work with 40 year old men or something like that and i think because of that directors probably avoid her for that.
Hayden Christensen: Same thing with Daisey Ridley at the time with the Attack of the Clones hate people thought he had bad lines thought the movie and didn’t think he wasn’t a good actor witch is not the case he deserved better and would have been some of the best modern actors ever like the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio if given more roles
Tom Holland: i think with his case he aaa waisted because of what you explained just given bad roles and not having a good agent like the Uncharted Movie was just totally awful and thats not his fault i put the blame more on Wahlberg acting wise and kinda screwed Tom Holland with it.
The Charlie out to is so epic
Dakota fired her agent after Madame Web, maybe she will get better work next. Brie was good in Room, but she hasnt impressed me in anything else, Im start to think that was a case of a director getting a great performance rather than Brie being a great actress.
She was great in 21 Jump Street and Scott Pilgrim though. I feel like she genuinely doesn't enjoy playing Captain Marvel or is close with the Avengers cast, hence why she always seems uncomfortable when doing interview
HEY, MADAME WEB IS A MASTERPIECE. IT'S THE BEST COMEDY MOVIE IN 2024
Tom Holland is someone I started to give up on as an actor. For the past three years, he kept saying he wanted to leave Spider-Man and said if he’s still playing Spider-Man until he’s 30 then he has done something wrong! But then he makes a deal again with marvel for another new trilogy. 🌚
The fans started to get confused on what he wanted to be and what he kept contradicting himself.
I get he’s trying to do other things, but he keeps relying on blockbusters in general.
In the words of Deadpool "till your 90" 😂
Tom has been in variety of movies and shows is just people always see him as Spider-Man and wouldn’t accept him in other roles
‘This cute marshmallow” what an accurate way of description
Bro, with the recent constant child groomers allegations from big names lately, that thumbnail along with that title gave me a heart attack.
David Dasmalchian is another underrated actor, though lately he's been getting his flowers.
Henry Cavill deserves better.
Every main character from the Star War sequel trilogy basically had their career damn near ruined.
John boyega fs
Oh this one hurts 😭 especially because this character he was playing had MASSIVE potential
Bro changes accents, English man plays a comic book version of the heart of New York, let that sink in
Hey woah the devil all the time isnt terrible though. You are right about using Zendayas agent. Man was able to convince the world her wooden acting is award winning somehow. Maybe Tom would be able to show he has some acting chops
choosing the right role is also a talent in and of itself
