Google translate on your phone. You say a phrase in English and it comes out in the language you choose, French in this instance. Then the other person can answer in French and you hear it in English. All from that nifty little phone. Absolutely amazing. I don't know how it would work with boat language though it certainly gets through all the basics then leaves you only with the technical stuff to deal with.

My son keeps saying “he’s just like you Dad” Take that as you will ;-) I think it would be great for people to understand how you look at the weather, tools used , how you interpreted the info etc. And even better if you could show how the reality had changed. I am probably 5 years behind you. But it WILL happen!!
