For those unfamiliar with the show, here's a quick synopsis.
Each episode is made up of a collection of funny video clips that are submitted by the show's American audience. The clips' subject matter varies, but the most common topics include babies doing cute or disgusting baby things, painful or amazing feats at sporting events, wedding disasters and, of course, getting hit in the groin. I watched this show on small tv with dials, while lying on an orange shag carpet with my family, deaf to the chaos of a seven-family home, plus five cats, two dogs, and many visitors. What made this show special was Bob. I never got over or adjusted the host change. He will be missed.

He ment the internet before our generation all at once where infront of the screens.. before the 1990 kids pc was more a nerd / business thing .
But the only way to "post" your funny cat/dog videos, is to send them to ABC or whatever, and pray that they'll put it on the air with this show!
OnlyElectro, Yeah man. Normal people didn't really use the internet until like '96, and even then there were no streaming videos, just shitty jpegs that took 5 minutes to load.

This really brings back memories of my childhood. One of the tv channels in my country broadcasted this program every Saturday night and I would sit back watching so many home videos that got me laugh during the show.

My dad used to turn the volume down on this show during Bob Saget's monologues. I didn't understand it as a kid, but as an adult, I can see why. The writing on that show was terrible and it wasn't funny.

It's so nuts, I'm of this generation, a kid of 88. I remember watching this on TV. It's so crazy how we still watch this same stuff but just on youtube now. Fails, cat videos.. ect. This is one of my 'back in my day' moments where I see how easy it is to watch this stuff when back then you'd have to wait for this show to come on to see stuff like this.

I was just a little kid but I would never miss an episode of AFHV. Since his passing, I've been binging and just reliving my childhood that I'm so grateful Mr. Saget was a part of, if only through his shows.
What an awesome guy. Made our 90s enjoyable and brought us loads of laughter. What a loss :(
Thank you for bringing back the memories I remember watching this show as a kid. The show was the best I remember the first episode and the last. I am talking about the episodes that Bob was hosting. It was very upsetting to see him go cause to me he made the show what it was. He was one of a kind and that is why I loved the show so much. I miss the 90's so bad. That was the time families spent time with each other. No spending time with there phones, laptops and games. Nope, kids were kids, parents were parents and life was good. Thanks for making a channel for the classic AFV. It's my new favorite thing to watch.

I'm french Canadian. And even though I didn't speak english back then (well nobody in the family I would say). It was a show we watched regularly with my mother in the 90s. Rest in peace Bob. Make my mother laugh up there (She died last october, cancer)

When my family and I first moved to Canada in 93 we would gather around the tv at night and watch this show because it was the only thing we could watch without knowing the language. My parents eventually divorced and this show is a memory of what were to me happy times with my whole family intact. Thank you Bob Saget!

To me. This was the closest to comedy for years as we only had a couple of channels to watch in the 90s. Most were reruns of this show.
You will be dearly missed Bob.
Every sunday evening. Watching the show while was in college, would make me laugh like crazy and the full house, full of fun and funny jokes and just the way he conducted himself and his facial gestures and his entire comedic style...Man... heaven just got one of earth's greatest entertainers.
