How do you know that it wasn't done? Because you didn't see it? Remember that the full procedure is NOT shown in the video! All they show is what we want to see - popping, draining, pus, blood, etc. All the other stuff is done when the camera is not rolling - skin prep, numbing, and all that other finishing stuff. So, it does get done, we just don't see it.
