Your McD’s comment was spot on. Woman was burned by coffee, found an ambulance chaser lawyer and sued. Won a sizable amount of money.
It's a sad world we live in when some people falsely make a living off the backs of others. I quoted some residental work a few years ago and soon found out the people I had quoted had a reputation of going around to department stores and having a "slip and fall accident". As soon as I found out about this, I told them I was no longer interested in their project.
Hi Brandon,
Your table took me back 50 years ago! I grew up in the restaurant business and we had prep tables that had rivets just like your design.
Many years later, my dad was given that frame that had the table broken out. He took a 4in thick block and cut it to size.
Thanks for the memories!
😊
Oh I bet that looked beautiful! I would love to have seen it!
Gotta love those disclaimers! Lol! I do remember when you built those tables, thought they were cool. The new additions make that table set more practical. I can always count on great ideas from you. Great video! Thank Brandon!
We are dating ourselves Brian LOL. It seems like not llong ago when I built those but then I saw the date and was like WOW. It's been a minute LOL. hahaha Have a great weekend brother.
Thanks Brandon…an everyday use practical fabrication project. Thanks for sharing this ENTERTAINMENT ONLY episode! 😎 Tim in northern TN
I appreciate it Tim 😎😁
NIce job, Brandon!!! As always you gather parts, plan, and then make it work!!! Thanks for sharing this and giving us some great ideas. Be well, be safe, be Blessed!!!
I appreciate that Jim!
That’s a cool upgrade for that table. Great job!! Take care.
Thanks brother👍
Brandon, a cool design! Looks good! Thanks for posting!👌👍
Glad you like it!
Thanks for sharing with us Brandon. Looks great works great , keep up the good videos and the fun you have around there, Fred.
Thanks Fred and same to you too! 👍
Nice little project Brandon. Even I can do that with confidence! Lol
Have a great weekend!!
You can do it! Have a great weekend Earl!
Great idea, of course I will not do this at home lol, thanks Brandon 👍😁
You bet! 👊 thanks brother!
Mate here in Australia, all electrical has to be checked every year and certified (in a business, ) but if you have altered an electrical device, you have insurance clam won't pay out ,even if it's not what started the fire 😂, but you can always make the hole bigger, great idea, now day's there is that much to charge,🤔 that'swhat Ineedundermy work bench in theshed, 😊, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Same to you brother and God Bless. Our rules here are simular that if this type of alteration causes a fire, not only will the insurance company not pay out, you could also be held criminally liable if someone gets hurt
Well I just ordered a saw like yours. Was $152 and some change. But that is with tax included with free shipping. Great video Brandon.
You are going to love it Ray! Congratulations!
Very nice, I really like that industrial look, wish I could talk my Wife into it. I have been working on getting that 3D printing video together. My plan was to do it tomorrow, but we are getting heavy rain the next couple of days and I film in my shop (which is metal) and it doesn't make for a great taping environment. I will have it out soon I promise. Thank you once again for a great video!!!
I really like that look but it's not for everyone. I've considered having them powder coated to soften the look a bit but time will tell. I'm looking forward to that video!
Very nice job well done
Thank you very much!
Great idea!!
Thank you! 😊
"Don't take off this tag or you will go to jail for the rest of your life" 😂😂Love it.
Nice little job. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
When you plugged it in you should have done the nuclear explosion meme 😂😂😂😂
Thanks Basil! Now that you mention it, I wish I would have! Lol. 🤣🤣🤣
@@BrandonLund 😂😂👍🏻👍🏻
When dealing with metal around electrical, as an extra measure of protection. I place a strip of Gorilla Tape over the metal head.
Thats not a bad idea either!
pretty cool iidea.
Thanks! It's definately nice having a power source close by and even better that it pretty concealed.
Yes, I do that kind of thing in my little shop as well.@@BrandonLund
Hey " teacher"! 😁👍
It has a nice ring to it 👍😁
A rivet would have been great for attaching the bracket to the power strip
Now that you mention it, it would have worked great
Where's the welding?
That occured in the linked video 6 years prior
The person whom your referring to about sewing McDonald’s ( someone I don’t know personally but read all about it) She was about 80 yrs old give or take knew it was hot but it was so hot when she grabbed it from the top of the cup the lid that was 1/2 put on by an employee came off and it spilled in her lap giving her massive 3rd degree burns on her genitalia. The McDonald’s was warned about the temp being so hot it burned but they did nothing about it until she sewed
It's very unfortunate that happened to her, but in general, common sense and personal accountability are lacking these days.
