I really like the characters reacting more realistically to the situation. Less like "look at me, I'm a cartoon character!", and more like an actual person would react in such a wacky situation. It's more believable. I like it! :) On the subject of printers - I once spent a year and a half using a broken printer that couldn't print black (I had to print all my documents in purple or blue, and always color-shift images if I needed to print an edited pencil sketch scan to keep drawing on it), all while looking for a printer with ink that wasn't a total rip off. Turns out those still exist - Epson Eco-tank ET2650. *Doesn't use ink cardridges,* you just refill straight from the bottle. Printer cost me 300 € upfront, but the bottles are super-cheap. Less than 30 € for all colors + black. But that's not the good part. I bought this printer in mid 2017, have been using it as usual... and have only needed to refill ink, like two or three times. *Yes, a SINGLE ink filling lasts 1 - 2 YEARS.* And each single bottle is just 9,99 € or even less if you buy the 4 pack together. Yeah I thought they were bullshitting me when the description said some ridiculous number of pages per ink bottle, but it's actually FAR MORE than that. I guess they might have _toned it down_ so it sounds more believable. Every printer that uses ink cartridges is a scam. (well otherwise it's still a printer, it still has all the same problems any other printer has [e.g. dried ink clogging up a color and needing to run the "cleaning" program, also the default settings for the scanner are bad for pencil sketches but you can fix that], but it's not a total rip off.) This video should totally have been sponsored by Epson eco tank printers, it would've made sense... well ok it probably would've made any claims of its capability also seem less trustworthy. But I do hope Epson keeps making those Eco tank printers so next time I need a new printer I still can get one that isn't basically EA loot box irl.
Eh that sounds a little financially non-exploitative, don't think the shareholders will be too happy with that design. How about a printer that sucks out the user's blood at regular intervals and then sells it via delivery drone? Could be used for overpriced medical treatments, research, sale to vampire roleplayers, staging fake crime scenes at competing printer corporation offices, etc. The user could be incentivized with 50c store credit after each transfusion totalling at least five pints of blood. I think it'd be a hit with the board!

I honestly feel like the two moments where Mike and Zach clinged to each other for dear life are super underrated. It shows just how much they care about and find refuge in each other, especially in dangerous situations! A true bestie dynamic :)
I LOVE the sound design in this! The way the robot audibly shakes at “NEED magenta ink!” And then punches the wall, it’s hilarious. Awesome work on this, you guys!
I know right? The printer sounds are so spot on they fill me with dread.
the printer shows more emotion than most people lol
I agree the Sound Design and music is fucking spot on
What I like about your animations, Mike, is how subtle the humor is.

@DONT CLICK MY VIDEOS!! MY VIDEO IS FOR COURAGEOUS ok.
First time I listened to this was on my phone. Now that I'm watching with a headset on, I have to say that the sound design and music created for this is top notch as well. This is easily studio quality made for TV. And done better than most of those studios.
ok?
I'm listening back and the music is phenomenal
@@WarlordofWarren Right? You take it for granted on the first watch and don't notice it, and that's because it's made so perfectly in time with the animation that it all fits as one piece

You should be. Haha
The animation on this one is so well done as always! I also love the cardboard like textures are more noticeable than before and this one really made me laugh a lot (especially at 2:22) and this also makes me really excited to see what the future projects hold as well
Also how come nobody’s talking about the new outro? I’ll miss the old one but I do really like the new one, it just makes this feel fresh
Also the little head bonk at 3:52
I love this art style! It almost looks like its made of fabric in some parts, and it gives it a bit of a uniqueness compared to other animations.
The whole idea is for it to look like construction paper
Like south park lol
I think it’s really neat that at 1:00 the printer starts while Mike is still talking. It’s a nice way to keep the pace high.
Imagine building a house of pop tarts and literally two minutes later have a walking, talking death printer in your living room. Oh how fast things escalate 😂
I will say, I do like the dynamic Zach & Mike have in the show. Could’ve easily made one dumb and one smart, but no, both are equally smart and dumb in their own way, making it unpredictable as to who is gonna be the source of a problem in any episode. Making it all the more hilarious.
Its usually mike tho
@@GrippingRaccoon7109 fair point lol

Oh I agree, and it’s so delightful honestly
I have no idea why ink is so darn expensive. Some people say that buying an entire printer is more cost-effective than ink cartridges.
The whole printer branche is a complete scam, the ink itself is more expensive than blood
The reason printers are cheap is because they earn their money by selling overpriced ink cartridges. They also have that protection against cheap non-brand alternatives, using all your color when you print B&W, and just scummy business practices.
Embrace kelptomania
Because it's a scam
They sell printers at a loss, then earn their money with the ink. After all, a printer without ink is useless, so you _gotta_ buy ink.
I love how these animations are steadily becoming the new Eddsworld to me.
(disclaimer: this isn't a slight against the current Eddsworld team. They're still very good, I'm saying Piemations is reaching a comparable level of good to Eddsworld).
Omg I literally just left a comment like this! I was staying how it feels like the same kind of humor and absurd situation! It gives me a weird sense of nostalgia. It’s great!

Zach cutting him off makes it even better because he finishes the dad joke by saying it. I love this channel too.
i love the robot, both the voice and its movements, especially the smaller movements like when it talks at 2:37.

I just want to say It's insane how far and how much these animations have improved and all the crazy details within. I fucking love this channel.
I really like the characters reacting more realistically to the situation. Less like "look at me, I'm a cartoon character!", and more like an actual person would react in such a wacky situation. It's more believable. I like it! :)
On the subject of printers -
I once spent a year and a half using a broken printer that couldn't print black (I had to print all my documents in purple or blue, and always color-shift images if I needed to print an edited pencil sketch scan to keep drawing on it), all while looking for a printer with ink that wasn't a total rip off.
(well otherwise it's still a printer, it still has all the same problems any other printer has [e.g. dried ink clogging up a color and needing to run the "cleaning" program, also the default settings for the scanner are bad for pencil sketches but you can fix that], but it's not a total rip off.)
This video should totally have been sponsored by Epson eco tank printers, it would've made sense... well ok it probably would've made any claims of its capability also seem less trustworthy.
But I do hope Epson keeps making those Eco tank printers so next time I need a new printer I still can get one that isn't basically EA loot box irl.
Looking for a printer and this may be what I am looking for. Thanks
Let me guess, this comment is brought to us by Epson?
Gurl because they are real people
@DONT CLICK MY VIDEOS!! MY VIDEO IS FOR COURAGEOUS alrighty, thx for the tip 👍
The script, the animating, the voice acting. Everything was so amazing, great job on this.
5:11 I never thought a printer could hold that much black paint
