- I WANTED TO PUT CONCRETE IN MY KENNEL FOR MY ROTTWEILERS TO KEEP THEM OFF THE GROUND AND KEEP THEM DRY. THE WOOD PALLETS WERE A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE AND I SPENT $64 TOTAL FOR 20 PALLETS. This looks nice. My pit chewed right through. this chainlink. I ended up having to reinforce it. She still managed to excape, she can jump high :) I ended up getting a Kennel Master, no issues with jumping or chewing.

Sorry here it is the 19th of May 2024 and your video just all of a sudden just popped up, I've been looking at DIY Kennel set ups for about 2 months now. I like your set up and by now you've probably changed it up a little,my concerns were you get a lot of rain flow that drains down to the ditch behind the kennel pallet wood isn't that sustainable against water and will eventually start to splinter and rotting due to the water. Maybe set pavers or center blocks underneath either of the two will keep the pallets off the ground,then maybe they don't but if they Tinkle or 💩 on the pallet that it will sink in and stench will set into the wood. Other than that my brother I think you've done a good. I was at Tractor Supply today and thought about using the Black Chicken Coup for the dog pen on a couple of pallets with the artificial turf to cover the pallets but I'm thinking they might go to the bathroom on it then because it reminds them of grass 😂😅. Well if your Channel is up I'm gonna become a Subscriber.
Wood is best. It's warm in winter cool in summer and looks elite

Hey bro be careful they don’t jump on the doghouse and over the chain link, they can get there paws in them holes and climb up just like we can
My Rotties were escape artist!!! We had a 7 foot kennel and dog igloo. They would push the igloo to the fence, jump on top and climb the rest 😂

I have a very similar set up for my Rottweilers with the panels, pool and the coleman hot tub . I have 4 additional puppies now so I'll be rebuilding a bigger set up next week ( which brought me to this video ) .

I was trying to get ideas for my outdoor rabbit enclosure and I really like your setup! But, I noticed your pet rabbit, Spicy, she is so cute! I do have some suggestions for her, if you don't mind.... maybe you can make her area a little larger? You could buy an indoor dog playpen, and put her current cage inside on floor w/the playpen around it and just get a piece of plywood the size of the playpen to cover the top so she is secure and she can have some room to run around. The wire bottom of rabbit cages hurt their feet also, so maybe add a paver inside her cage to avoid that and more comfortable to lay on too. Just wanted to share :) Thanks for sharing your video, I'm definitely going to incorporate your ideas w/the pallets for my enclosure. I have the exact same kennel fencing that you have!
Yea. Keep a backup on the latch. My pups figured out how to push it up and I came home to a surprise or 2.

i get plastic ones from my local feed shop. they're amazing, i put some horse stall mats on top of them and my dogs love it.
nice set up! i’m going to be doing a make shift dog house for my german shepherd soon, she’s a puppy right now and already pretty big. she’s gotta too big for her current kennel so i’m just going to make her one with extra lumber & tin i have. it’ll be my first time building something sense i’m just 14 so i am nervous 😅 but i’m pretty sure it’ll be easy

On the 4 foot side I was worried about them digging out on that side. As for climbing out I never seen them jump up on the fence. I think I will make a video about that coming up this week. Thank you for watching and commenting
