I am a graduate in 1986 . Naabutan ko pa ang pamunuan ni FEM sa kabataan ko. During Cory time i was not able to be employed in any government agency dahil malakas ang padreno system not until in 1989 nag abroad na lang ako for almost 16 years. Now I am already a returning ofw for good and having my livelihood business. I am happy Marcos returns. Hope i would be given a chance to serve in government department probably in Department of Migrant Region X before i reach retirement

My President-elect, our simple wish from you is a thourough screening for putting a secretary of BIR and Customs..these positions are at risk, kapag ito may anumalya, ang laki ng epekto sa ating bansa..lalo na po yung panggigipit nila mga foreign investors natin, naalala ko yung dating shipping line na kinabibilangan ng kapatid ko, it was in the midst of pandemic ay ginipt sila ng BIR to pay an specific amount and threaten them to cancel their business here in the Philippines, sobrang iniyakan iyon ng kapatid ko who happens to be a Gen Mngr of Accounting Dept..hindi niya mapulot yung tamang term on how to explain it to their main office in Taiwan..take note sir President, we are in the midst of pandemic and we all know that businesses were effected, at iyan ang nakikita kong medyo mahirap sa mga kawani ng BIR, nagpapayaman na sila, tinitignan na ang ibubulsa without even considereing what were the other businesses went through..

Expectation setting is the process of formulating and communicating what is expected. It is a basic leadership technique and management responsibility that gives people the information required to perform well. I have identified here the 7 types of Expectation Setting:
1. Defining vision and mission statement
A vision provides direction, sets a course toward a future that tells the people the desired outcome, how to behave, and what kinds of decisions that need to be made. As a result, a vision - to have vision - means to imagine a world that does not yet exist and intends to inspire people to make it a reality.
Mission statements are a way to direct a vision into the right path. It can allow everyone to work towards one common goal that benefits both the people and the government. Having a clear and motivating purpose sets a standard of excellence and clears up any misunderstanding along the way.
2. Goals and objectives setting
Goal setting involves the development of an action plan designed in order to motivate and guide a person or group toward a goal. Goals may narrow someone's attention and direct their efforts toward goal-relevant activities and away from goal-irrelevant actions. People perform better when they are committed to achieving certain goals.
Objective setting is about planning goals and meeting them on a realistic schedule. Objectives help define what each department's and employee's responsibilities are within a group. Objective setting is an important aspect of performance management and ensuring personnel are contributing as required to the strategic goals of the country.
3. Principles
A principle is the rule of conduct based on beliefs of what is right and wrong. It is a general or basic truth on which other truths or theories can be based. To 'act on principle' is to act in accordance with one's moral ideals. In law, it is a rule that has to be or usually is to be followed.
4. Strategies
A strategy is a general plan to achieve one or more long-term or overall goals under conditions of uncertainty. Strategy generally involves setting goals and priorities, determining actions to achieve the goals, and mobilizing resources to execute the actions. Strategy typically involves two major processes: formulation and implementation. It includes such activities as strategic planning and strategic thinking. Strategy is important because the resources available to achieve goals are usually limited.
5. Program management and project management
Program management is the process of managing several related projects, often with the intention of improving an organization's performance. A program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits and control that are not available from managing them individually. A program's success will be measured in terms of benefits. Benefits include reduced expenses due to shared resources, rules setting for communication, courtesies and protocols, outlining procedures, ease of managing conflict, etc. In central or local government organizations, benefits might include providing a better service to the community.
Project management is the use of specific knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to deliver something of value to people. The primary constraints are scope of work, time, and budget. The changing nature of work due to technological advances, globalization and other factors means that, increasingly, work is organized around projects with teams being brought together based on the skills needed for specific tasks.
6. Performance Indicators (or KPIs)
A performance indicator or key performance indicator (KPI) is a type of performance measurement. KPIs evaluate the success of an organization or of a particular activity such as projects, programs, and other initiatives in which it engages. KPIs are aimed at analyzing the status quo to predict the consequences of future actions. Performance indicators is vital to avoid mistakes and minimize risks.
7. Automation
Automation describes a wide range of technologies that reduce human intervention in processes. Human intervention is reduced by predetermining decision criteria, sub process relationships, and related actions - and embodying those predeterminations in machines.
The main advantages of automation are increased throughput or productivity, improved quality, increased predictability, improved robustness (consistency) of processes, increased consistency of output, reduced direct human labor costs and expenses, reduced cycle time, increased accuracy, relieving humans of monotonously repetitive work, relieving humans of dangerous work stresses and occupational injuries, increased human freedom to do other things, etc.
The main disadvantages of automation are high initial cost, faster production without human intervention can mean faster unchecked production of defects where automated processes are defective, scaled-up capacities can mean scaled-up problems when systems fail - releasing dangerous toxins, forces, energies, etc., at scaled-up rates. Human adaptiveness is often poorly understood by automation initiators. It is often difficult to anticipate every contingency and develop fully preplanned automated responses for every situation. The discoveries inherent in automating processes can require unanticipated iterations to resolve, causing unanticipated costs and delays. People anticipating employment income may be seriously disrupted by others deploying automation where no similar income is readily available.
I hope the new Philippines administration is not overwhelmed by this ambitious suggestion. At least, it may take us to an elevated place where we are over the pandemic and other health risks, and the Philippines peso has more buying power. We can start by recognizing that our big population can be an asset for our nation-rebuilding to address the Philippines debt challenge. Let's keep an eye on our income and expenses.
