I could be wrong, but I think Serendipity is one of the earliest gender non-specific love songs by BTS, if not the first. ARMY noticed right away. In interviews RM said he did intentionally write the lyrics gender neutral "because love transcends genders, cultures, and other barriers between people".
All the BTS members's are crazy talented, and I love them all, but there is something special with Jimin, a little "magic touch" that adds to his talent. He is always cute and lovely, caring, kind and sweet heart, with an wise and old soul (even if he sometimes act like a cute baby) but when he performed, his ethereal beauty, angelic voice, fluid and elegant body control, his soft sensuality are just mezmerising. Jimin is literally an angel inside and out, his voice is so sweet and ethereal, just gorgeous. Serendipity is my favorite song of all time, it makes me feel so calm and relaxed, it’s such a pretty song, and the lyrics)? I mean what more do you expect when RM is the writer. Filter is definitely the sexy and flirty side of him, not only the lyrics but the dance too 💀, he was ready to kill us and he did, I love the latin vibes with the guitar and his vocals are gorgeous as always. Jimin's unique vocals are the first thing that really drew me to BTS. He's phenomenal. His dancing is gorgeous, and his vocals, ugh. 💜 Filter is a whole problem, and forever will be. I'm not hugely into Christmas music, but there's something about kpop idols Christmas music that I just love.

My Jiminah, our Baby Mochi! Yes, he is soft and tender, he is like a squeeshy toy. Lol. He is my bias along with JK. He is also super funny. I don't understand how anyone doesn't have him as their bias or even a bias wrecker. Lol Such a unique human being with a unique voice. He is also super sweet. Most of the members want him for their sisters. Lol I love his solo songs especially Lie and Promise. His voice is like cotton candy, light, sweet, and soft. I love him like I love Christmas which happens to be my favorite time of the year. I have wonderful Christmas memories. We grew up poor and I remember getting an apple, few chocolates, and a small plastic toy inside my Christmas sock which happened to be a real white school sock. No Christmas stockings nor Christmas trees for us. But those are my favorite childhood memories that I will treasure forever. When I started working and making money, the best times for me were me wrapping and giving gifts to my family that we were not able to afford to give and receive when we were kids. I'm not religious, far from it, but I was born and raised a Catholic and we have amazing traditions surrounding Christmas.
Ah yes Jimin and his duality... honestly in most interactions with other members it's just his cute, adorable, cuddly, sometimes slightly devious side that shows. So like in the compilation videos you've seen, it doesn't surprise me that you didn't see his sexy side much. It really comes out when performing on stage, during photo shoots, or music videos. It is actually quite amazing how he can be staring into my soul and be overwhelming with his sexy stage presence, then in the behind the scenes you see him break or them call cut and it's back to fluffy cute Jimin. What's interesting is that I think you've already heard all of Jimin's solo songs 😅 I think you're only missing "With You", the OST he did with Ha Sung Woon. He is the member with the least solo songs but every time he releases something it's always a masterpiece. I'm an Army for so long time but for me since day one my ultimate bias, my love, my everything is JIMIN. Then my second bias is V and then JK and them the rest. Jimin solo songs are my favourite too along with Epiphany from Jin. Jimin is my favourite artist in the entire world for more than 4 years. I can't not explain why. He is simple out of this world. Lie is one of my fave songs and stages ever!! it's about how you lie to yourself to the point you don't know what's real anymore, and the "s" sounds are quite strong to reflect the snake feel just like some moves of the choreo, so cool and detailed
Since you've seen and heard that beautiful Serendipity video, I think it would be good to watch the 2020 MMA performance - the Black Swan one. The eclipse (moon and sun) visual is very similar there. Also, Jimin now has the moon phases starting at his neck and down his back (tattoos) - new in 2021 I believe. Jimin is self-proclaimed "cutie, sexy, lovely, sweetie pie". Jungkook got him a birthday cake for 2021 that said, "You're my Park Filter" (since Jimin's last name is Park). Serendipity is my favorite though.

Serendipity is my happy place, just like the title. I have a few things lately I get *incredibly* anxious over., like difficult to do anything anxious. I just load up that song on repeat and I can actually function. It's damn near magical for me. There's a longer version of it and an amazing stage mix of it too. There's also a "day 2" Filter performance that shows the choreo a lot better. That one is my go to for the live verson.

I love solo work from each member but on a whole jimins (&suga’s) are the ones I listen to most often RM was my first bias, but truthfully I’m oT7 now because it depends on what day and what mood I’m in. Lie is about Jimin lying to himself. For years he struggled with his confidence. At the start of bts he was meant to be the one with the best body and all the muscles, he tried really hard to be masculine while denying his real self. Eventually he accepted his true self when it comes to masculinity and him having a naturally feminine voice and appearance. He also would constantly blame himself for any tiny mistake he made on stage. In bts’ Burn the stage documentary from when Wings came out (the album Lie is in) Lie is described as the most difficult song to perform, not just because of high notes, but also the meaning of the song
Everything Jimin has done so far, written a detailed essay about what he wants to do in his life, going for it through the dance academy and arts highschool as a dance major, getting accepted as a trainee, becoming very popular from day one of debut AND reaching his set goals, points to a very confident, highly motivated and focused individual. Jimin surely must have struggled on occasion and probably have doubted himself now and then, just like most people do through their life, but this is normal and doesn't mean he has struggled with selfconfidence. Also, Jimin has very cute facial features but he is the least feminine looking of all the members. What you are describing are his stage persona and BTS concepts.
@@maggan2808 that’s a pretty fair point but what about how he always used to break down after making one mistake after a concert? Achieving goals like that sure takes a lot of motivation and confidence but that doesn’t mean he was happy with who he was. Everyone struggles with who they are at a point in his life and I admit I shouldn’t straight up say that he had no confidence because I don’t know what’s going on on his head everyday. But some of those things like him breaking down after concerts because of one mistake definitely can’t be his persona or a concept in my opinion.

Does that mean they have struggled with self confidence too because of it? Also, I too think he wasn't happy with himself BUT, only as a performer not as a private person. So what did he do? I have to work in front of a laptop 12-13 hours a day and BTS songs is how I get through it. But Jimin's voice is my healing time. Depending on the day I have had I end up listening to 'lie', 'serendipity', 'filter', 'who' or 'with you'. The especially hard days are 'Tony montana ft Jimin' days. But at the end I always end up coming back to 'promise' for some reason.

My Jiminah, our Baby Mochi! Yes, he is soft and tender, he is like a squeeshy toy. Lol. He is my bias along with JK. He is also super funny. I don't understand how anyone doesn't have him as their bias or even a bias wrecker. Lol Such a unique human being with a unique voice. He is also super sweet. Most of the members want him for their sisters. Lol I love his solo songs especially Lie and Promise. His voice is like cotton candy, light, sweet, and soft. I love him like I love Christmas which happens to be my favorite time of the year. I have wonderful Christmas memories. We grew up poor and I remember getting an apple, few chocolates, and a small plastic toy inside my Christmas sock which happened to be a real white school sock. No Christmas stockings nor Christmas trees for us. But those are my favorite childhood memories that I will treasure forever. When I started working and making money, the best times for me were me wrapping and giving gifts to my family that we were not able to afford to give and receive when we were kids. I'm not religious, far from it, but I was born and raised a Catholic and we have amazing traditions surrounding Christmas.
Ah yes Jimin and his duality... honestly in most interactions with other members it's just his cute, adorable, cuddly, sometimes slightly devious side that shows. So like in the compilation videos you've seen, it doesn't surprise me that you didn't see his sexy side much. It really comes out when performing on stage, during photo shoots, or music videos. It is actually quite amazing how he can be staring into my soul and be overwhelming with his sexy stage presence, then in the behind the scenes you see him break or them call cut and it's back to fluffy cute Jimin. What's interesting is that I think you've already heard all of Jimin's solo songs 😅 I think you're only missing "With You", the OST he did with Ha Sung Woon. He is the member with the least solo songs but every time he releases something it's always a masterpiece. I'm an Army for so long time but for me since day one my ultimate bias, my love, my everything is JIMIN. Then my second bias is V and then JK and them the rest. Jimin solo songs are my favourite too along with Epiphany from Jin. Jimin is my favourite artist in the entire world for more than 4 years. I can't not explain why. He is simple out of this world.

Since you've seen and heard that beautiful Serendipity video, I think it would be good to watch the 2020 MMA performance - the Black Swan one. The eclipse (moon and sun) visual is very similar there. Also, Jimin now has the moon phases starting at his neck and down his back (tattoos) - new in 2021 I believe. Jimin is self-proclaimed "cutie, sexy, lovely, sweetie pie". Jungkook got him a birthday cake for 2021 that said, "You're my Park Filter" (since Jimin's last name is Park). Serendipity is my favorite though.

Song like Lie and Promise hit so hard when you know the struggle Jimin went through. His struggle with how he wants to express himself, him being too hard on himself, him thinking he was being fake etc. Jimin went through so much and came out all of that as winner. I am so proud of him.

Serendipity is my happy place, just like the title. I have a few things lately I get *incredibly* anxious over., like difficult to do anything anxious. I just load up that song on repeat and I can actually function. It's damn near magical for me.
There's a longer version of it and an amazing stage mix of it too. There's also a "day 2" Filter performance that shows the choreo a lot better. That one is my go to for the live verson.

Lie is about Jimin lying to himself. For years he struggled with his confidence. At the start of bts he was meant to be the one with the best body and all the muscles, he tried really hard to be masculine while denying his real self. Eventually he accepted his true self when it comes to masculinity and him having a naturally feminine voice and appearance. He also would constantly blame himself for any tiny mistake he made on stage. In bts’ Burn the stage documentary from when Wings came out (the album Lie is in) Lie is described as the most difficult song to perform, not just because of high notes, but also the meaning of the song
Everything Jimin has done so far, written a detailed essay about what he wants to do in his life, going for it through the dance academy and arts highschool as a dance major, getting accepted as a trainee, becoming very popular from day one of debut AND reaching his set goals, points to a very confident, highly motivated and focused individual. Jimin surely must have struggled on occasion and probably have doubted himself now and then, just like most people do through their life, but this is normal and doesn't mean he has struggled with selfconfidence.
Also, Jimin has very cute facial features but he is the least feminine looking of all the members.

@@maggan2808 that’s a pretty fair point but what about how he always used to break down after making one mistake after a concert? Achieving goals like that sure takes a lot of motivation and confidence but that doesn’t mean he was happy with who he was. Everyone struggles with who they are at a point in his life and I admit I shouldn’t straight up say that he had no confidence because I don’t know what’s going on on his head everyday. But some of those things like him breaking down after concerts because of one mistake definitely can’t be his persona or a concept in my opinion.

Also, I too think he wasn't happy with himself BUT, only as a performer not as a private person. So what did he do? He worked harder and got where he is today (again, reaching those goals he said he set himself). That is confidence.

I have to work in front of a laptop 12-13 hours a day and BTS songs is how I get through it. But Jimin's voice is my healing time. Depending on the day I have had I end up listening to 'lie', 'serendipity', 'filter', 'who' or 'with you'. The especially hard days are 'Tony montana ft Jimin' days. But at the end I always end up coming back to 'promise' for some reason.
