The only way I see that happening is if there's a massive solar storm or something that leaves modern smarphones unsable because the storm disabled satellites, network towers, etc forcing what's left of Google to give support to 20 year old phones for whatever reason, maybe the storm didn't destroy 2g or 3g towers because they were discontinued long ago so the storm only destroyed the operating ones, forcing companies to reactivate the old networks, but since the smartphones of that time don't have modems that support 2g/3g, people resort to old smartphones to communicate, and because of it forcing Google and other companies to restore support for these old devices. Still a far fetched scenario but it's kinda interesting to imagine anything like this playing out 😅
Hey. Do you know if there's still a way to download apps without any browser? Is it possible to plug my SD card into a computer and download apks from there to be later installed in the phone?
Yeah because I tried signing in my Samsung Galaxy Gio and it showed me the password is incorrect and made me think I typed it incorrectly but I didn’t! I typed it correctly.

And use UA-cam (gdata returns)
You may as well find a custom ROM for that device to continue using Google services
The roms are stock based only.
Or just update Accaont Manager
That layout is so nostalgic

Yes, you can download APks from you computer. But you have to make sure they are compatible with Android 2.3, otherwise they won't work.
