Dwarves v Orcs in the Mines

Dwarves meet Orcs deep underground in the mines and deeps. As you can see I like making underground scenery, especially stairs and towers. The Dwarves are Essex Miniatures, full of character and very cheap. The one with a paunch and feather in his hat reminds me of Edward the 7th. Many of the goblin/orcs are early Citadel red orcs, which although very early look good en masse, and wield scimitars, and I think the early wolfriders are excellent.
This is just a silent slideshow.
If you never heard the prelude to Wagners Ring cycle, to the first opera Rheingold, you are in for a treat if you can access it. It is meant to represent the flow of the Rhine I think, from source to mighty river, I think it fits well. Hope you enjoy the clash of Dwarves and Orcs as much as i did making it!
