Hello everyone! This is my largest residential build to-date and I actually started this last May 2021. I'm so happy I was able to pick it back up and finish it 😍 this had already been play-tested and yes, no CC but as always, I used the TOOL mod.
The name of this build in the Gallery is Luxury Modern Family Home (because I couldn't fit the word 'Mansion' anymore lol). Please let me know what you think! Thank you for watching

What makes you my favorite sims builder is that you show sims interacting in the house and it shows that not only is the build beautiful artistically, but it is also functional. I love playing in the houses nd restaurants you've built. Also can I say tou balance perfectly between too Empty and too cluttered. Like the home looks cool and modern but not soul-less and also not too messy!! Also also the maids quarters 😍... that built in fire place!??!🤯... Just the amount of time and care you clearly put into these! No more. I will save the rest of my compliments for later 😌

fr tho, i've downloaded lots of houses that were definitely aesthetically perfect but practically unusable.
This is EXCEPTIONAL, and it's really apparent how much time, effort, and dedication you've put into this! Really love that you're now comfortable doing huge builds such as this, and I'm so glad it turned out so great! My eyes were glued to the screen so I would not miss anything. If I blink once, I feel like I've already missed at least 2 incredible tricks or the creation of one gorgeous piece of custom furniture. I love watching you build. It feels like a matter of course, like rooms just come into existence the way they were always meant to be, even before you invested time and effort and a huge amount of genius into them ... Your sense of style remains - and will always be - impeccable.
I love the little meditation garden. The unique pathway to the fire pit. The large windows, especially the one in the kitchen, and the way you framed the workspace in there. All of your shelves and wardrobes, so incredibly stylish! The custom dining table. The bathrooms! I would immediately move into just a bathroom and live there. The way you combined wallpapers and wall decorations. Your marvellous custom lamps, especially the statement piece above the dining table! I could go on with this list forever. Not to mention the flow of your videos! Your are a master in that regard, too!
You're fast advancing through the ranks of my favourite builders, especially now that the Sim Stream, Simproved and Fantasims hardly - if ever - upload any more ...
I think it is good that you took your time and let the unfinished build sit for a while before coming back to it. It opens your eyes to new possibilities and gives you time to refill your creative juices! 🧃

Such a sleek build. I love how you made the coffee table, dining room table, and kitchen seating area. There are so many nice areas and unique ways to use lighting. Love it and I usually don't go in for modern builds. Great job and on such a large lot!

This is beautiful. I downloaded it, and attempted to play the game in it. Really pretty, very realistic, however it wasn't as usable as I would have liked.

@@paszerine Hey i just put your house in last night and some things are missing like the bedside drawers on the left and right of a bed, some shelves, etc. I thought the build had no CC, so maybe you used the cheat to be able to use any furniture in the game? Could that be it? Ty
nvm I figured it out. I play with the walls down so it would hide your shelves, makes stuff looks like its floating
@@paszerine The doors aren't closable, so when the seasons is enacted in gameplay, it will freeze your sims out, as well as give negative moodlets for not wearing winter clothes inside the house at all times.
@@KristaAndersonPhilipps I made sure the interior counted as an actual interior, because the doors separating it is actually a threshold and not just open to the outside. That is why it is well lit artificially during the day even if it looks open. You can find many builds similar to mine that choose to make custom doors with thresholds and windows instead of doors. It is relatively warmer "indoors". I know sims will feel chilly but they wont actually freeze to death. Although if you want, you can choose to add a thermostat so they can wear everyday clothes indoors. I personally did not add it cause I can never find it, and most houses I play in/make, the sims would still wear winter clothes and feel chilly despite having actual doors.
Edit: i meant "arch" instead of threshold 😅 I hope my ecplanation made sense
