Really hope more youtubers start doing this! Its so awesome to see game devs take interest in the communities passion of wanted features. Official Multiplayer would take Blade and Sorcery really far in terms of standing out from other physics based fighting games. Great video DC!!

Lots of people wanted this, the fact that they only did it for a UA-camr shows that they really don't give a shit about the rest of the players, only the exposure.

the fact that if your talking with someone, even if its just an npc's avatar, the brain still wants to look at the person you're talking with. including hand gestures and waving. interesting how the brain just fills in the gaps.
Could you imagine if Baron was so impressed with the mod that he asked the creator/creators to be on the team?

If the Baron sees this, first off, I'm *glad* you enjoyed the multiplayer mod; if we could get cross-platform multiplayer for the game I honestly think that'd be *really* cool.
And as for the rope physics thing, you and the rest of the Warpfrog team *might* be able to figure out how to implement them *and* chain physics by studying the mods that add flexible weapons to the game like the *Beamsabers* pack (beam whip named Jourmangandr), the Chained Sickle Axe Fusion mod, the Bullwhip, Kusarigama, and Vampire Killer mods from U11, etc. in the *meantime* , you guys should be able to add *flails* to the game by using the ropes the *lanterns* are attached to for the chord; a *temporary* measure until you figure the *proper* rope (and chain) physics out. You could even add a *joke* weapon called the *Lantern Flail* to the game as a reference to how you *first* got flails to work in the game. Whaddya think of *that* idea?
Id be surprised if cross platform ever came cause, well, quest is kinda a potato, but the flail is a pretty cool idea
the fact that you think it could ever get cross platform is funny. The multiplayer mod itself is buggy, and the developers (i think) have no interest in multiplayer. I don't really care about it but he physics in the game are to big to be put in to multiplayer, it would cause massive lag.

it seems like all they need to do is polish some animations and it should work in vanilla honestly, this mod is gonna be one of the most important in b&s history for the sole purpose of persuading the devs to add this

Yea the modder has done a great job, and continues to update! It’s nuts to see the movements sync
This would make blade and sorcery one of the most popular games on the market
the roof window in the entrance room to the house has an interesting quirk. from the outside, you can directly see in, from the inside you can directly see outside, but if you climb up to the window, and look back down, you'll see an occlusion plane with a low-res image of the interior. (head has to be directly next to the window bars.)

@@noice1263 nomad multiplayer (if it comes out) would have a lot of delays seeing as it's a full physics based game and also because its quest, but multiplayer nomad would be cool

Oh my God, this is so awesome! Great to hear the Baron's voice, and see how much he loves this game. I desperately want to play the recently released version and the multiplayer mod, but my vr died of old age literally the update just before 😭

Imagine a multiplayer mode called duel were you have a one on one duel
To the death and there were rankings like dude that would be so sick
ppl keep wanting it to be in the base game, but it's not that simple. Its gonna take some time due to all the jankiness that exists, and if they let it be then ppl will complain and complain.
In this case where it's done by a modder, the jank is justified as it's expected from mods that do such game changing things. Admittedly, it possibly wouldn't take that long to tackle the problems with it, and also there's less jank and immersion breaking problems (like weapons being able to clash now) but i don't think it'll be priority anytime soon.

I haven't seen anything on this mod yet but it looks super clean.
I hope this can be integrated into the base game. physics would definitely be a challenge but in my mind if someone knocked another player out I imagined that the avatar would just fall over and the player ghost would appear until the avatar got up then the player could take it over again and keep fighting. Although im not a modder so idk how possible that is.
Honestly in a year or two i could see multiplayer in base game with hardware getting better and the game more updates

😆But in all seriousness, if I had space to play this game I'd definitely get it so me and friends could get this mod until actual multiplayer is put in.
So much YES! Toss in some campaign modes and let people make their own worlds with stories and multiplayer!
As for the level size issue, well if you use UE5 you can just stream in the world as the player moves through the world. But this uses Unity3D?
If they do add multiplayer ill be extra sad considering i have no friends 💀
Finally i will be able to play Multiplayer without having problems of trying to connect myself with someoneon a private code! I also hope they add Private multiplayer

tbh having a multiplayer experience that is buggy but not gamebreaking adds more to the fun in my personal opinion :P

If they add in multiplayer (hopefully) I’d love it if there was also a 1v1/2v2 matchmaking mode to it alongside the dungeon mode and sandbox mode but also add matchmaking to that

Yeah Co-op should be a thing it would be fun being able to make a server in the Hub then a player could join and of course the Travel map would only be able to be used by the Host of the server unless the Host messes with their Settings allowing the person that joined to use the Map select well Map but honestly Co-op is a perfect thing for this game especially if they add more dungeon's just imagine if a group of people could make a server that has a huge map and it makes the game feel like an RPG where you can go out kill thing's gain EXP and level up while getting better gear that would be crazy cool

I've been saying it for a while but the only thing a TON of VR games are missing that would make them near infinitely replayable is multiplayer, I didn't enjoy bonelabs until the multiplayer mod (Fusion) came out because all these sandboxes get really stale and kinda lonely when you have no one to share the experience with

You will never get this awesome experience from any super corporate greedy monetize happy AAA game studio developers so I'm glad this video exists. KCD will be awesome too if the devs can make some great progress with their next game.

I never thought Baron was so laid back. It's honestly a really refreshing thing to see, since so many devs are like Anton from Hotdogs Horseshoes and Hand Grenades and just rude and almost seem like they want to constrict the community of their own game. Meanwhile Baron is over here doing things like this and it's great to see.
