Good trick ! Thanks I will try my patterns
Fantastic, I hope you find the information valuable! Thank you for watching!
You make great electribe vids. I love your ESX-1 tips too. Thanks for taking the time to make these and inspire others. Cheers
I appreciate the words of encouragement; thank you! And thank you for watching. :)
If you do a motion sequence recording once. Then go into step edit and go to the last section you can adjust the Osc Edit knob settings per step. Don’t know why but the only way it works is you have to record some motion sequencing first.
I actually had no idea that was in the menu. I had to fire up the unit just now to take a look! Thank you so much! And thank you for watching. :)
😳 bruh
I actually made a template like you said but in the step edit mode and played around with some breaks and got some cool results. Awesome video would have never thought about trying this. thank you
@@danieklerr Good to see you back .I thought yours was the strange red colour (🤔same as mine)?did you sell or u have the black one as well?
That's pretty awesome. I've booked marked this for next time I dust off the E2S :)
That would be amazing! We could trade project files back and forth, and you could do vocals. :) Thanks for watching!
@@danieklerr Sounds Awesome :)
awesome.
I guess ES2 is still a pretty good choice (especially when approached in a more templated way)
It certainly does interesting things, once I started focusing on what it can do, and less on what it can't. :) Thank you for watching!
goddamn, it's like parameter locks
Pretty much, yes. I would be fully stoked if I could choose samples or slices per pad though. Thanks for watching!
I figured this one out a little bit ago too. It’s a shame that motion sequencing is counted against the total polyphony instead of how the old ones had 24 lanes dedicated to just motion sequencing. Oh well, I guess we technically have parameter locks 🤷♂️
That's part of the reason I always turn off Polyphony (paraphony), aside from it being implemented terribly. Thank you for watching!
@@danieklerr I guess they wanted to save on voices. Everything costs a voice on this thing. I’ve experienced voice stealing from turning a knob with my hand so even turning the filter counts as playing a note. That being said real polyphony probably would have been even more of an issue I guess. The EMX could get huge unison and like 4-5 note chords off of one note though. Thankfully we can resample.
You blow my mind every time!
Ever thought about building a .pdf manual on all your tips and tricks for all these machines?
Thank you! That sounds like a good idea, I should get it started. :) Thanks for watching!
Hi m8 , sorry i am commenting on another topic..i watched the mc808 review on BADGEAR, regarding your Windows 10 driver for the MC808 Editor , i am currently on look out for a mc808, my question is will your driver work with my Roland Fantom XA and MC909 ?
Thanks in advance.
Peace from OZ.
Hello, Andrew.. I can't comment on the Fantom XA, but I had an MC909 and used the USB and editor in Windows 10 with the official driver, v 1.23 I believe. Is this not working for you? Thank you for watching!
@danieklerr I haven't tried the MC909 yet as the dramas trying to get my Fanton XA put me off. .I will hook my MC909 up to my pc after work today.
Thanks for the reply.
Ugh the E2S seems more and more kak.
Haha, yep. I still think it's an exceptional deal for what it does well. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately getting an ESX-1 FOR me Is almost impossible.
